However, I strongly hold the view of point that limit chil d’s hours of watching TVprograms and movies
is not the best way to enhance a child’s school performance,even not a good approach, which under well control, watching TV programs andmovies may significantly benefit a child’s growing as well as school performance.There are several conspicuous factors at following.
To begin with, I would have to say that limiting child’s hours of watching TV andmovies also make child less possible to get access to some outstanding TV programsand movies, which have a vital benefit to a child’s school performance. Take TVprograms Natural Geography for instance, it is really an impressive TV programswhich not only wide a child’s field of view, but also motivate a child to thinkindependently and critically, which will on turn imp rove a child’s school performancesignificantly. What’s more, if children’s hours of watching TV programs and movies are limited, Iam concerned that children may spend their free time doing other business which arepointless or even harmful since parents of our time are usually very busy daytimefighting for their living and they seem to have little to take care of their children allthe time. For instance, it is more meaningful for a child to watch some Disney cartoonlike Mickey Mouse than to let him play computer game. Ultimately, watching Disneycartoon will leave a child with an amazing childhood, but playing computer merewasting time as well as harming a child’s school performance.
It is my opinion that when come to issue within the limitation of a child’s time ofwatching TV or movies and his school performance, parents are supposed
to take theresponsible of making a balance between. Above all, parents should realize wheretheir child’s interesting really lies, is their child more into music or sporting, or istheir child more interested in science. Then parents should do their outmost to guidetheir little child to watching the TV programs and movies which is healthy as well asfit their child’s savor. It is also of great importance that parents encouraging theirchild to contact TV programs and movies which he may not be so interested in.

Kids, who are in their formative years, are not immune to these negative influence. Therefore, it is becoming absolutely tough for parents to guide them and any negligence might lead to be catastrophic for the kid’s future development.Additionally, parents are so overwhelmed with their career and they tend to be negligent about their kids. Kids, on the other hand, without guidance from their parents tend to have both psychological and physical problems.
