On this trip I learned about poverty but also how education can provide the training students need to succeed on their own. Two years ago, I studied in London and experienced a new world through international relations classes, being the only American in a group of mainly non-Europeans, and traveling to Western and Eastern Europe. These and other experiences have confirmed my desire to work for an international Non-Governmental Organization promoting literacy, conflict resolution, and humanitarianism. In order to achieve this goal, I am applying to attend the London School of Economics for a master‟s degree in International Relations. As a University student, I have pursued training in education, history, and international relations in America and abroad, with Americans and international students. I will be certified to teach at the end of January and education will always be part of my professional passion because of the change I have seen it make in people‟s lives. For example, education has changed my way of thinking. When I began studying in London I always planned on teaching in America, but now I has goals of teaching abroad and working in non-traditional classrooms. After teaching on the Indian Reservation and studying abroad, I sought other teaching and international experiences that include teaching at a private Korean School in my community, tutoring international and American students, and teaching at the secondary level in the greater Milwaukee, WI area. As a student mentor, I worked with international University students to help them improve their English, adjust to change, and succeed academically and socially in an American university. My training in education has helped me develop and understand the practice and importance of learning in history and international relations. While in London, I studied Latin America during the Cold War and wrote my undergraduate thesis on the coup in Guatemala in 1954. With this knowledge and a subsequent course on genocide and global justice, my attention changed to humanitarian crises where I believe literacy programs empower people, even in times of crisis, to seek constructive change in their communities and cultures. My diverse, liberal arts education provided me with practical education training, theoretical training from international relations, and understanding through historical context. I have developed skills in both fields so I can teach classes or individuals and research and analyze information. Throughout my undergraduate career I worked at least 2 jobs, remained in the tops 10% of my class, and volunteered as a mentor and tutor. In short, I understand how I function in multiple classroom settings, have learned to motivate myself and others, and value both hard work and service to others. This proven commitment to personal achievement and to my community will help me succeed at LSE in the future. At my teaching internship, my cooperating teacher constantly reminds the students to ask two questions as they study the world: “What‟s in it for me? And what about the human?” My own answers to these questions are intertwined: my own educational and professional goals require a so lid education in order to demonstrate the compassion and commitment that I have for “the human.” I have worked hard in the past and will continue to while I meet new people, create memorable experiences, and remember the human. 牛津新词典即划即译已启用经济学专业个人陈述(PS)范文模板- 3经济学专业个人陈述(PS)范文[奖学金信息网] [大中小] [划词翻译已启History has always been a strong interest of mine and whilst I was at school I took it upon myself to expand my interests by taking both a history and ancient history timetable whenever available to me. The subject appealed to me because I was always so involved with understanding why wars and conflicts occurred, and how countries interacted with each other as a result of particular events. Whilst studying history I found the politics side of Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia to be incredibly interesting as the subject went into depth on how both Hitler and Stalin took control of their people and governments to obtain absolute power within their countries as well as international recognition for their actions. The Greek wars were taught to me through my ancient history classes and I was deeply involved with the rivalry between Athens and Sparta which followed the Persian invasion of Greece due to the changing nature of military conflict. I have always been fascinated with the changing world by which we live and current affairs and during my early teenage years I subscribed to TIME magazine as I found it to be extremely interesting asit reported on up-to-date political events, specifically on areas pertaining to war and conflict, and I would spend a lot of my time following up on events included with in the magazine to discover more information on the topic. It is through the emergence of of the perceived post-9/11 'terror threat' that has given me the desire to analyze the political stance both domestically and globally. I would like to deepen my understanding of the wars in the Middle East and the evolving war on terrorism particularly after reading Phillip Bobbitt's latest book 'Terror and Consent' of which Bobbitt makes clear the root of terrorism spurs from America's global dominance, and synthesizes history, law and military strategy to present concepts and ideas such as the introduction of the market state, to help prepare the globe for what could be a decades-long conflict with terrorist groups. My secondary interest lies in Americas declining relationship with other nations and more specifically with Russia since its invasion of Georgia. My final school year allowed me to research into possible candidates to become the next super powers after the United States, because as history has discovered - all great empires fall sometime.I believe that my passion for international relations and politics stems from my life story. Originally born in Britain I moved to Western Australia when I was 10 years old, so, unlike many, I have had the opportunity to live and learn in countries located in opposite regions of the world. As a result of living in the most isolated city on the planet, I have seen the world from a different perspective and have witnessed peoples views on Britain, and Europe in general, from a country not located in that region, which will give me an advantage whilst studying in the U.K as I will have the knowledge of outsider opinions and perspectives. Living in such an isolated part of the world has also given me a hunger to discover and understand what is happening across the globe. Traveling has also been a large part of my life and I have visited many countries, discovering the ways in which different populations live and interact and to therefore be more open minded when discussing culture and traditions. I find it genuinely interesting how international politics affects mass populations of people through different ways and how outside countries view each other. After graduation I intend to work in a career dealing with internat ional security so that I may protect my country from terrorism and/or foreign threats. I accept and embrace change, therefore I would be a key asset to any employer as I will always be willing to learn and discover new things, which I believe is necessary when chasing such an important and up to date career pathway. Other than studying I enjoy socializing and the nightlife. I like to keep myself fit by going to the gym, boxing and kickboxing and of course I enjoy watching these sports as much as participating in them. 牛津新词典即划即译已启用经济学专业个人陈述(PS)范文模板- 3经济学专业个人陈述(PS)范文[奖学金信息网] [大中小] [划词翻译已启The internet has made international politics much more accessible to a wider audience. I for one, through a myriad of internet mediums such as blogging, visiting forums as well as reading magazines such as "The Economist" and "Prospect" have expanded the scope of my knowledge especially in the field of international political issues. The irony is that many people are not at all interested in this cacophony of political information. My interest in international politics has also stemmed from my ethnic background. I was born in Ghana and issues such as corruption and poverty are very apparent. The dishonest nature of many politicians make it difficult for democracy to be attained; common cases include police officers getting bribes from criminals and politicians obtaining money for their personal gain. A current issue that comes to mind is the local military threats coming out of the opposition party (National Democratic Congress) in the upcoming Presidential elections in Ghana, as a result of the recent oil discovery which is expected to generate a lot of revenue. It's unfortunate that the issue of 'sleaze' is a unique feature in global politics. My interest in politics is apparent in my A level courses. Although the study of Sociology and Politics seem fairly different, a close examination of both subjects provides interesting analysis. Most politicians for instance try to paint a picture of a 'unified' society however in Sociology; Marxists would argue that as long as ethnicity, religion and social class are a factor in the modern world, conflicts are inevitable. Studying sociology has broadened my knowledge on international affairs as it deals with social relations, which in a broad perspective can be viewed as the relations between the western society and the eastern society and also the relationships between international allies. Moreover, I am now aware and can identify the effects these relationships have, not only in Society as a whole but on individuals. Studying sociology made me realise that political issues operates within the nature of society because the political systems can be used in the interest of the powerful, but on the contrary can also be effective in protecting the powerless.Studying English Literature has been beneficial because it has taught me how to express my ideas, which is particularly important when debating on political issues. English has been a fascinatingtopic because it enables the reader to question the motives of a character, and in poetry the reader questions the real theme the poet is trying to depict, through their often obscure style of writing. It's true when they say that change starts from the 'bottom-up' and not the 'top down' as claimed by US presidential nominee Barack Obama. As a volunteer for the British Red Cross, I have seen the impact a small group of committed citizens can have in eradicating issues that affect us domestically as well as internationally, for example, knife crime in the urban neighbourhoods in London and the detrimental effects the war in Sierra Leone has had. In 2006, I took part in an event with a team called TRUCE (To Reach Urban Communities Everywhere). Our aim was to go into the urban communities in London to talk about the impact of carrying weapons. I have enhanced my leadership skills during my role as a student ambassador and a member of the student council. My communication skills were further enhanced during my Duke of Edinburgh silver award excursion, where I was involved in many group activities.I believe I have the study skills, determination and enthusiasm to be a successful undergraduate at your institution. 牛津新词典即划即译已启用经济学专业个人陈述(PS)范文模板- 3经济学专业个人陈述(PS)范文[奖学金信息网] [大中小] [划词翻译已启I was born in Belgium, and I have a Belgian passport, however strangely enough I only lived there for the first ten days of my life. I have lived abroad for 18 years of my life, of which 16 of those years were in Asia. Growing up in Asia has exposed me to different cultures, religious, and societies, and my interest in International Relations as grown increasingly over the past few years. My passion for studying politics, international relations, sociology, and law grew simultaneously as I grew up myself. I have been exposed to different cultures all my life, and our ever changing world has made me want to pursue these subjects in University. When I was a ten day old baby, my parents, sister and I moved to London, United Kingdom. Afterspending the first 2 years of my life there my father‟s company transferred us to Seoul, South Korea in 1993. This was our very first post in Asia, and little did we know that it would defiantly not be the last. Attending Seoul Foreign British School for two and a half years, our Korean adventure ended when we moved to Jakarta, Indonesia. Attending the British International School of Jakarta for five years, living in Jakarta from the age five to ten I was exposed to poverty and Muslim culture which opened my eyes at a very young age. It was living in Indonesia that I realized the economic and social issues that a corrupt government entailed. My awareness grew even more when I moved to Shangha i, China for five years. Even though we lived there as China‟s economy was rapidly changing, the over population and poverty of China caught my attention once again. Even at a young age, I realized that not everyone has the same privileges and rights. We moved back to Seoul 12 years after we left Korea, and attended Seoul Foreign School, which is where I will be graduating High School in June, 2009. Changing environment, school, houses, and friends every couple of years is a challenge however I would not have wanted it any different.I feel very privileged to have lived in so many different countries, as I have lived in and traveled to countless countries and seen the good and bad. Over the years, I have experienced different societies, thus sociology is a course that I am interested in because I am keen to learn more about the way societies are made. Human Rights has also always interested me as I have always been passionate about the equality of rights, and I believe law is a good preparation for such a field. Now that I have a chance to go to University, I want to study subjects such as Politics, Law, and Sociology, and my life so far has prepared me greatly for these subjects.I believe my personal attributes qualify me greatly for attending your university. Not only do I have a mature personality because of my exposure to current affairs, I am also a mature student, as I am currently following the International Baccalaureate Program. Additionally, I am a keen linguist. Being born into a Belgian family but raised internationally has made me bilingual in English and Flemish. I speak Flemish at home, however have gone to English speaking schools my whole life. I learnt the basics of Indonesian at a young age, and took Chinese lessons for two years in Shanghai. As French is also a national language of Belgium, I am currently following IB French at the Standard Level. In my second year of High School I achieved the Academic Excellence A ward for French. In addition to my language skills, my hobbies are sports. I started playing tennis when I was about seven years old, and I have participated in V arsity Tennis for four years. In my final year at Seoul Foreign School I was captain of the team. I also play soccer and have been part of the team for three years. As an athlete, I have received several awards. For the past two years I was awarded medals for my tennis performances, and have been champion for soccer twice in the Asia Pacific Activities Conference, a sports league of which Seoul Foreign School is a part of. Being on sports teams, I have become a great sportsman and a leader, and I work well with other people. I am also a developed musician, as I played the flute in my school‟s band in Shanghai American School for four and a half years. I also played the piano intermittently for about seven years.Throughout high school, I have taken an International Relations course as well as European History at the IB Higher Level. These courses have taught me how to assess and evaluate the cause and effect of events, in addition to the fact that I have successfully learnt how to analyze and interpret readings and sources, a skill I believe is important for studying not only Politics and International Relations, but also Law and Sociology. The subject area of which I have read the most books about is that of the Holocaust. My passion for the Jewish Holocaust triggered when I had no other books to read than “The Diary of Anne Frank”. Being a European, I have such great passion for this subject as it is one of the key factors that have sparked my interest towards history and international relations. In terms of sociology, I am fascinated by the way societies work, and why certain societies are they way they are.Overall, I believe I am an excellent applicant for studying at your university not only because of my academic achievements, but also because of my background. I am internationally aware, and will be an asset to your course. I posses sincere interest in your course, and I am committed and hardworking, and look forward to possibly attending your university. 牛津新词典即划即译已启用经济学专业个人陈述(PS)范文模板- 3经济学专业个人陈述(PS)范文[奖学金信息网] [大中小] [划词翻译已启Through studying international relations and politics at university, I hope to be able to understand the globally interdependent world in which we live. What are the causes of the current situation in international politics? How will the picture change in decades to come? What influences the main actors to operate in the way that they do? The scope of these debates fascinates me and I anticipate studying them at a higher level.Part of why I want to study this subject is because it encompasses several different fields. EH Carr‟s …Twenty Y ears Crisis‟ linked …The Wealth of Nations‟ to the harmony of interests doctrine and I found it interesting how models of inter-state relations have evolved in reaction to new ideas and wo rld events. I have also read Robert Kagan‟s essay …Paradise and Power‟, on American-European relations in which he invoked philosophers Hobbes and Kant in order to compare the European rule and process approach to the more unilateral and power-based American style. The way theories from these centuries-old texts could be applied to governments in this decade interested me, so I later read Rousseau‟s …Origin of Inequality‟ and Machiavelli‟s…The Prince‟. These have evoked an interest in conflicting theories on the best way for society and states to function and how theories such as liberalism and realism can be related to the way we are governed today.I have an interest not only in government and relations between states but also in the impact of IGOs and NGOs. As part of my AS Biology coursework, I studied global polio eradication efforts.I found the instrumental role of NGOs in co-ordinating a huge reduction in the infection rate of particular interest, and followed this up by reading about the work of MSF, including the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative.Opinions of world events and politicians in particular have permeated much of the WWI literature I have studied in AS English which shows how politics affects so many areas. I feel that the es say writing and critical thinking skills necessary in English Literature have improved my ability to construct my own arguments and assess others, skills I think will be important when reading this subject. I found AS Politics an interesting introduction to British politics and enjoyed learning about how our governing structures work. Class discussions have informed my own opinions.I enjoy reading a wide range of news and opinion. Regularly reading The Economist introduces me to many global issues but I feel it is important to balance this with other perspectives. Recently, I have read articles in Russia in Global Affairs relating to energy, relations with the US and the 2008 war with Georgia. In addition to sixth form, I have been employed for over a year. I have moved from working as a cashier to working on the customer services desks, dealing with challenging customers and more recently doing floor sales. Balancing 16-20 hours per week of work with study has been challenging at times but I feel that I have really matured because of the responsibility and the necessity to manage time effectively.I look forward to the fresh challenge of undertaking a degree and feel that I will be able to flourish studying this immensely exciting and important subject in greater depth. 牛津新词典即划即译已启用经济学专业个人陈述(PS)范文模板- 3经济学专业个人陈述(PS)范文[奖学金信息网] [大中小] [划词翻译已启I firmly believe that Politics and International Relations are two of the most relevant disciplines there are. The exercise of power affects us all, governing the relations we have both in our private lives and also on an international scale and it is both the abuse and effects of power that I find fascinating. Politics and International Relations are not confined to government and bureaucracy but affect each and every individual within society - elements of both subjects are applicable and relevant to almost every aspect of daily life, which is why I wish to study the subjects at degree level.I originally became interested in politics after reading Orwell's 'Animal Farm' for English Literature A level, which introduced me to the fact that just one man was able to have the power to command an entire nation. Undertaking wider reading around the novel, I learnt more about Stalinist Russia, and consequently furthered my interest in the abuse of power and political tools and how the ideas and decisions made by a small group of individuals can affect the entire world.Studying Religious Studies (Philosophy and Ethics) at AS level sparked an interest in me in questioning what is right or wrong; good or bad - and indeed whether we can even use these terms objectively. Consequently I have developed an interest in Political Philosophy. I decided to read Machiavelli's 'The Prince', and found his ideas about what makes a good leader ruthless but interesting nevertheless. My interest in ethics led to my founding a debating club at my school which meets every week. I find participating in the club has helped me learn the value of alternative opinions and arguments, and has taught me how to express my own points diplomatically which I feel is a valuable skill.I also have a keen interest in the history of war, which I find an engaging topic of study and would like to pursue further through relevant modules. This led to me visiting The Holocaust Centre in Nottinghamshire, which opened my eyes to the full extent that the abuse of power can lead to. The effect of politics and international relations can and does have dreadful consequences, which is why I believe both disciplines are so relevant and important to study.I also enjoy learning about different cultures and the history of humanity, which led to my undertaking in an Open University course in 'Archaeology: The Science of Investigation'. Whilst difficult, the course introduced me to study at University level and I found the experience mentally stimulating and rewarding.Outside of school, I pursue a variety of interests. I enjoy music and I regularly play the piano, a hobby I have had for the past six years. I also enjoy keeping fit and go running five times a week. Also, I love travelling because it presents the opportunity to experience different cultures. Holidays around the world have further fuelled my desire to study international politics because they have made me aware of the importance of the relations between different countries.I believe I am a determined, highly motivated individual, and by studying Politics and International Relations I hope to gain not only knowledge of the wider world but to improve my analytical and writing skills. I am excited about the prospect of starting university and the challenges it will present. I am confident that, with my skills and interests, I can make a real contribution to the course.。

大学毕业后当一名数学老师英语作文

大学毕业后当一名数学老师英语作文

大学毕业后当一名数学老师英语作文篇1My Dream Job: Becoming a Math TeacherHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade and I absolutely LOVE math! I know that might sound weird to some kids, but to me, math is like a super cool puzzle that you get to solve over and over again. I find it really satisfying when I finally figure out a tricky problem after working really hard on it. Math just clicks for me in a way that other subjects don't.Ever since I was a little kid, I've known I wanted to be a math teacher when I grew up. My mom says I used to line up my stuffed animals and "teach" them about numbers and shapes before I even started kindergarten! I had this really great math teacher in 2nd grade named Mr. Parker who made learning math so much fun. We did all these awesome hands-on activities and games that helped the concepts stick in my brain. I could tell Mr. Parker really loved teaching and loved seeing us understand the material. That's when I decided - I want to be just like him!I'm sure some people are probably thinking, "But Timmy, you're just a kid! How can you possibly know what you want todo for the rest of your life?" Well, yeah, I might change my mind eventually I guess. But for right now, being a math teacher is my absolute dream job. Let me tell you why.First off, I'll get to work with my favorite subject every single day! How cool is that? I won't have to dread going to work because math is fun and exciting for me. I really enjoy explaining math concepts to others too, even to my classmates who struggle with it. When you understand something really well, it's awesome to be able to share that knowledge and see the lightbulb go off for someone else. That must be such a great feeling as a teacher!Secondly, I'll get to help shape young minds and inspire a love of learning in my students, just like Mr. Parker did for me. I know how discouraging it can feel when you just can't "get" a certain math skill. By being a caring, patient and creative teacher, I can find different ways to explain ideas until they finally click. Seeing my students have those "aha!" moments when a tough concept starts making sense will be so rewarding. And who knows, I might even inspire a few future mathematicians along the way!Another great perk of being a math teacher is that I'll have summers off to relax and recharge. Don't get me wrong, teaching seems like incredibly hard work during the school year. But getting those couple months of summer vacation every year to pursue other interests and hobbies sounds amazing. Maybe I could even pick up a fun summer job or go on vacations. The flexibility of the teaching schedule is a huge plus.Of course, the road to becoming a math teacher isn't an easy one. After I graduate from high school, I'll need to go to college for at least 4 years to earn a bachelor's degree, probably in math or education. During college I'll take tons of math courses to really deepen my number skills. I'll also have to take classes on things like teaching methods, child psychology, and classroom management. It will be a lot of challenging coursework for sure. Then after college, most states require new teachers to complete an internship or student teaching experience before they can get certified. So I'll likely have to spend a semester or two teaching math classes at a school under the supervision of an experienced mentor teacher. This will help me get hands-on practice with lesson planning, working with students, grading assignments, and everything else that goes into being an effective math teacher. It's going to be really hard work, but so worth it in the end!Once I make it through my degree and credential program, I'll finally get to start applying for math teacher jobs at elementary, middle or high schools in my local area. Of course, competition for teaching positions can be pretty tough, so I'll need to really sell myself during job interviews. I'll emphasize my passion for math and working with young people. I'll highlight any experience I had tutoring, coaching, or working at summer camps. Maybe I can even show some sample math lesson plans I created to demonstrate my skills. If all goes well and I land my dream job, I can imagine it will be both incredibly fulfilling but also incredibly challenging at times. Some kids might be disruptive or hard to motivate. Dealing with rules, curriculum standards and standardized testing from administrators could be frustrating. Having to grade hundreds of quizzes and assignments on top of creating engaging lesson plans will eat up many late nights at home too. But in the end, I'll persevere because helping kids understand and appreciate math is my calling.Just picture it - I'm standing in front of my class, colored markers in hand, walking students through step-by-step how to solve an algebraic equation. Despite a few glazed over looks, I can see that lightbulb moment when over half the class suddenly"gets" it. That feeling of knowing I made a difference and helped kids learn? That's what will make all the hard work worth it. Yep, being a math teacher might just be the most awesome job ever!So that's my big dream for the future - to become an inspiring, passionate, creative math teacher who sparks that same joy of mathematics in my students. Sure, it's going to take a lot of studies, years of training, and tremendous dedication. But in my mind, there's no better way to spend my career than sharing my love for numbers with the next generation. Math has brought me so much happiness and fulfillment, and I can't wait to pass that on. Just call me Mr. Timmy!篇2My Big Dream to Become a Math TeacherHi, my name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. I'm in the 5th grade and I absolutely love math class! I know what you might be thinking - "Math? Isn't that the most boring subject ever?" But to me, math is like a giant puzzle that is fun to solve. I get such a rush when I finally figure out a really tricky problem. My favorite part of math is algebra. I know algebra is usually not taught until middle school, but my math teacher Mr. Rodriguez started introducing some basic algebra concepts toour class this year. At first, I was a little confused by all the letters and symbols instead of just numbers. But after Mr. Rodriguez explained it, algebra started to make a lot of sense. It's like a code to describe patterns and solve mysteries!Whenever we do algebra in class, I get super focused and have to stop myself from raising my hand for every single question. I just can't get enough of factoring polynomials, solving for x, and graphing equations. My friends think I'm totally weird for loving algebra so much. They make fun of me for being a "math geek." But I don't even care, I'm proud to be a math nerd! The reason I love math so much is because of Mr. Rodriguez. He has a way of making even the trickiest concepts really clear and easy to understand. He comes up with the best examples and life-like word problems to illustrate what we're learning. Sometimes he even raps the lessons or turns them into fun games. Math class with Mr. Rodriguez is my favorite period of the day.Mr. Rodriguez has inspired me to want to become a math teacher when I grow up. I remember a few months ago, I was having a tough time understanding how to work with exponents.I stayed after class for extra help, feeling really dumb andembarrassed that I couldn't get it. But Mr. Rodriguez was so patient and encouraging. He said, "Tommy, don't be hard on yourself! Exponents can be really confusing at first. It takes time and practice to get the hang of it."He went over examples with me again and again until it finally clicked. When I got my test back and saw that I had aced the exponent problems, I felt so proud! That's when I realized that being a teacher must be such a rewarding job. Helping students understand and cheering them on until they have those "a-ha!" moments. I can't imagine anything more fun than getting to work with math all day and watch kids fall in love with it like I did.Of course, before I can become a math teacher, I have to go to college and get my degree. I've already started looking into the best universities with great mathematics programs. My top choices so far are MIT, CalTech, and Stanford. I know getting into schools like that won't be easy, but I'm going to work really really hard. I plan to join the math team, math club, and any other nerdy math groups I can find! After college, I'll need to get my teaching credential and credential too. That means taking some extra classes on things like lesson planning, classroom management, and childpsychology. It sounds like a lot of work, but I don't even mind. Anything to reach my dream of becoming the next Mr. Rodriguez!I can picture it now - me at the front of my own math classroom, going over geometry proofs on the board. When a student raises their hand with a question, I'll walk over with a smile and patiently re-explain the concept until they've got it. Maybe I'll even put on goofy math costume from time to time, like Mr. Rodriguez does on Pi Day every year. Anything to make math more fun and engaging!Outside of teaching, I'd love to get involved with math competitions, like coaching a math team or creating practice materials. Math competitions were some of the most fun events I did in school. It was so exciting to see which student or team could solve those crazy, mind-bending problems the fastest. As a teacher, I could help prep kids to experience that same thrill of victory.Who knows, maybe I'll even write some math curriculum or textbooks along the way. Ones that really break concepts down in a simple, straightforward way for kids to understand. Mr. Rodriguez is always saying how hard it is to find good teachingmaterials sometimes. If I could create resources to help teachers like him, that would be so awesome!Being a math teacher means more than just teaching formulas and equations though. It's about inspiring a love for the subject in your students. That's what Mr. Rodriguez did for me. Before his class, I thought math was this boring subject filled with arbitrary rules. But he showed me the beauty, logic, and real-world applications behind all of it. Now, I can't get enough!Whenever I see equations or numbers in my daily life, I get all excited. Like when waiting in line to ride a roller coaster, I'll calculate acceleration rates and kinetic energy. Or at the grocery store, I'll estimate prices and discount percentages for fun. Some kids want to grow up to be athletes or movie stars, but not me. Give me a piece of chalk, a chalkboard, and a roomful of students, and I'll be the happiest kid on earth! So there you have it - my dream is to become an awesome math teacher who inspires kids to see how amazing and fun math can be, just like Mr. Rodriguez did for me. It's going to take tons of hard work and many many years of schooling, but it will be worth it to have my dream job. Sure, I may get teased by my friends for being a math nerd now. But just wait, one day I'll bethe really cool math teacher that all the kids look up to. Algebra here I come!篇3Being a Math Teacher After University GraduationHi, my name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. When I grow up, I really want to become a math teacher! I know it might sound kind of boring to some kids, but I absolutely love math. Numbers and equations just make so much sense to me. It's like a fun puzzle that you get to solve over and over again. After I finish elementary school, middle school, and high school, I'm going to go to a great university. I'll have to study really hard and get excellent grades. My parents always tell me that doing well in school is the key to getting into a top university program. I'll probably major in mathematics, but I might also study education so I can learn all about how to be a really awesome teacher.University is going to be so exciting! I can't wait to live in the dorms and make new friends from all over. We'll go to classes together, study at the library, and explore the fun college town. Of course, I'll have to be really responsible and not goof off toomuch. Graduating with good grades is super important if I want to become a professional math teacher. After four years of intense studying, going to lectures, writing papers, and taking tests, I'll finally graduate from university. YAY! I'll get to walk across the big stage and receive my diploma. My family will be there cheering me on and I know they'll be really proud. I'll feel so accomplished knowing that I worked hard and achieved my goal. Then it will be time to enter the real world and get a job as a math teacher! I think I'd like to teach at a high school to start. High school students are old enough to really understand and appreciate higher level math concepts. Subjects like algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics are so intellectually stimulating. As a teacher, I'll get to introduce brilliant young minds to those fascinating areas of math.My dream job would be to work at the high school I once attended. How cool would it be to have some of the same teachers that inspired me as a student? I could decorate my classroom with numbers, formulas, and fun math images to create an engaging learning environment. I'd have a big whiteboard or chalkboard for working out problemsstep-by-step for the whole class.Teaching is such an important responsibility. As a math teacher, it would be my job to make sure every student truly understands the material before letting them move on. I would offer lots of one-on-one support for any kids who are struggling. Maybe I could start an after-school math club or tutoring program too!The best part about being a math teacher is that it combines two of my greatest loves - working with numbers and helping others learn. Every day, I'll get to use my expertise to guide students towards new mathematical discoveries. Seeing a kid's face light up when they finally "get" a complex concept would be the best feeling ever. My students will be the next generation of mathematicians, scientists, engineers, and more.Over the summers when school is out, I could travel the world and continue learning. Summer math camps, seminars, and conferences happen all over the place. Educators are always working to develop fresh ways of teaching tricky math topics more effectively. I'll never stop being a student of mathematics myself so that I can be on the cutting edge.As the years go by, I might decide to go back to university again. This time, I could get a master's degree or even a doctorate in mathematics education. With an advanced degree, Icould become a math teacher for university students. How rewarding would it be to train young people to become future math teachers themselves? I could have a huge, generational impact by sharing my passion. No matter what, I'm determined to always be involved with mathematics in some way. Numbers and problem-solving strategies will forever be oxygen to my soul. Maybe I'll write math books for kids, become a private tutor, or work on educational math games and software. The possibilities are endless when you follow your true calling.Being a math teacher is such a important yet underappreciated career path. We need more dedicated people who can patiently explain mathematical concepts in a way that inspires curiosity instead of anxiety. Math is a universal language and the foundations for ALL areas of science, technology, engineering, business, and more. Without skilled math instructors at every level, the world's intellectual growth and progress would be stunted.I can't wait to get started on this incredibly meaningful journey. The road to becoming a math teacher after university won't be easy, but it will be so worth it. I'll work as hard as I can to make sure my future students have an excellent guide andmentor for unlocking the beautiful intricacies of mathematics. Who's ready to log some study hours with me?。

My teaching internship Ladies and gentlemen , Good –evening ! I „m honored to participate in today „s Speech contest . My topic is My teaching internship. This evening , I will tell you tow stories from my internship . That‟s no dig deal , just tow stories about my students and me . The first story is about a girl. I know as a new teacher, I should master the students‟ information as soon as possible. So I spent a lot of time and energy on observing my students ,and I found a girl ,whose name is Xiang Yuzhu , hardly ever raise her head in class and never initiatively answer questions . So I decided to talk with her and inspired her. Well , she just remain silent and lower her head when I talk with her in a mild tone . After a few minutes, she abruptly said with Jishou dialect “Miss Deng, I wanna go back to finish my homework , after that I will talk with you .” It sounds like I made a serious guilty, and the problem is I didn‟t make an appointment with her . So, she rejected to talking with me now , and I should let her go … After 20 minutes ,she came back ,and I continued to talk with her in a mild tone . However, no matter what I said ,she just lower her head and remain silent . What made me finish our talk is I noticed her eyes were filled with tear but her managed to restrain them not to weep out. To my surprised again, she asked my QQ number. At night , she send a message to me “Thank you, Miss Deng. ” The next day , I was aware that she raise her head look at the screen and pay attention to the class. After that , she would talk with me initiatively sometimes ,and we became friends. What to my impressed is before my live, she send a message to me “I am glad to make an acquaintance with you , you are a good teacher !” The other story is about a boy ,his name is Liang Haitao . Each time ,when a check my students‟ exercise and diction ,I would wrote down some inspire and cordial words on my students‟ books ,such as “Well done !” “Excellent !” “Don‟t give up. You can do a excellent job too !” “Be careful !‟‟ ,and so on . I wrote these just want to give my students motivation to make them march forward . And they were worked ! On October 20th , during the break time , I was busying handing out students‟ homework . I heard a low voice in my back “Miss Deng ,I have something to tell you .” I turn back ,and find Liang haitao looking at me with a pair of innocent eyes . I curiously asked “What?” He bow his head and said “Sorry , Miss Deng .” I was alarmed and promptly asked him “What‟s wrong with you ?”Becase I fear he got some serious problems . “I didn‟t remember yesterday‟s vocabulary and I did a worse job in the diction .” he answered with a low voice and a guilty conscience . I surprised and smiled , “That‟s Ok. I know you are busy recently , and next time you can do better ,Yeah?” I said. He smiled and went back to his seat with a great sense of satisfaction. Well , maybe most of you are curious about my students‟ behavior ,me too ,initially. Then ,I got it! Thanks to these simple sentence “Believe yourself and work hard , you can learn English very well! Wish you make a progressive next time !” What to my appropriated is Liang Haitao got a full point in next time , what‟s more, his English improved lot . Thanks to these simple sentence again , they worked beyond my expectation and brought out a magical effects ! Before I stared my teaching internship ,I was troubled by the question “ How to be a good teacher? Can I to be a good teacher ?” I fear I cannot control the whole class or I fail to answer my students‟ question. However , when I arrived at there ,everything went well! My tutor is kind and responsible ; my partners from The Art Department are friendly! The most wonderful thing is that I get along well with my all students ,and most of them made a great progressive in the test ! How cool that is ! After my teaching internship ,I realized what is the most important to be a good teacher. That is care about each student ! To respect each student ; to understand them ;to trust them :to be patient and elegant with them ! Try to care them like a parent ,try to treat them like a good friend ! Thank you all very much !
