FIDIC合同被称为“国际工程行业的圣经，是国际 工程咨询业通用的语言”，FIDIC所制定的工程建 设项目管理的合同范本已被联合国有关组织和世行、 泛美开发银行、亚行等绝大多数国际金融组织及其 成员国普遍承认和采用，具有广泛而深刻的影响， 是相关行业的国际规则。
FIDIC合同已成为工程招投标、工程咨询、工程项 目管理和工程承包合同管理的重要依据。我国出台 的建设工程施工合同（示范文本）分别参照、等同 和等效采用了FIDIC合同的模式。

FIDIC是总部位于瑞士日内瓦的“国际咨询工程师 联合会”的缩写，成立于1913年，其目标是推动成 员之间就国际工程咨询与承包进行研究.其主要工作 就是举办国际会议、专业讲习班以及编制用于国际 工程领域的文件。FIDIC因其编制高质量的国际合 同文件范本而享誉全球。

CM however is to protect your own contractual rights and prevent yourself from breach of contract, meanwhile to discover your adversary’s defaults to claim against him.
