名词的分类

1.具体名词concrete noun 与抽象名词abstract noun

2.可数名词countable noun 与不可数名词uncountable noun

3.生物名词with live 与无生物名词without live

4.专有名词proper noun 与普通名词common noun

专有名词中的特殊情况：

一、以下两个名词末尾虽然是-s，但它们必须用做单数形式。

1.The United States has…..

2.The United Nations has….

二、既可单数又可复数的专有名词

三、通常被看做复数的专有名词

下列情况-s结尾但表示单数

1.表示科学或学科的一般用做单数

要注意这种情况
