三年级英语,是小学英语学习中一个重要的起步阶段。
教材和中学教材已经进行了衔接,而很多家长还以为“小学英语并不重要,到了初中还会从ABC重新学习,以后再抓吧。
”这是一种错误的思想。
有时就因为家长的这种态度影响了孩子对英语的学习态度,所以造成英语成绩两极分化十分严重,有的100分,有的只有二、三十分。
所以请家长一定要从现在起重视孩子的英语学习,不然到了五六年级补都来不及了。
为了提高孩子们的英语学习兴趣,我在课堂上注重寓教于乐,使孩子学得轻轻松松。
在我们学校,英语老师的课务量很重,一个老师要教三个班级,除了上课,光批每天的作业就已经够忙的了。
但为了真实了解学生的学习情况,我还是让每个学生利用下课时间到我那里进行过关背诵。
可是,每个班总会有一部分不自觉的学生不能按时完成作业、不能背诵课文、不做回家作业、更不能默写课文的单词……开学一个多月了,为了让孩子有个适应过程,我教得很慢,照理说有足够的时间可以课课过关了,可是出乎我意料的是有几个同学连第一课几个句子都不会背。
考试竟然还有相当一部分同学出现不及格现象。
了解下来才知道那些孩子在家里从来就不做英语回家作业,从来就没有听英语磁带,也没有背课文和单词。
对于三年级来说,英语成绩90分也差不多是正常的范围,毕竟题型还是相当容易的。

第二、作为家长表一下态:特别是还有六个月的时间我将努力做到以下几点:1、对孩子要做到“ 给动力但不给压力” 。
孩子们从呱呱落地那天起,就承载着我们当家长的无限希望,看着孩子们一天天长大,转眼间就将走向人生的新起点——高考。
作为父母,我们渴望孩子过上幸福的生活,渴望孩子展开理想的翅膀自由翱翔。

2、要提高信心指数多鼓励孩子。
虽然孩子的成绩至今不是很理想,但是考虑到高考中有很多不确定的因素,这些因素有的可以大幅度影响考试成绩,比如题目的难易程度,对中等程度的学生有着重大的影响,平时的测试一般偏难,如果高考的题目偏易,大幅度提高分数是有可能的,这在以前的高考中是有不少实例的。

I was asked to speak today about my experience learning English with Mrs. Johnson this year. I have to admit, at first I wasn't too excited about having English class every day. I thought it would be so boring learning about grammar rules and vocabulary words. Boy, was I wrong!Mrs. Johnson has made English class the highlight of my day. Instead of just lecturing at us, she gets us totally involved and laughing while we learn. Like when we were studying adjectives to describe people. She had us go around the room complimenting each other, but we had to use crazy over-the-top adjectives. Sarah said Lucas was the "magnificently smart super-genius." Jake called Emily the "unbearably cute sugar plum fairy." It was so silly but it really helped me understand how adjectives work.We also act out crazy skits and tell funny stories to practice speaking English. One time, Mrs. Johnson pretended to be a hungry monster who only spoke English. We had to use our English to explain to her where the good food was and stop her from eating us! Another time, she showed us pictures and we had to make up a wild adventure story using all the vocabularywords we had learned that week. You might be wondering why I'm up here talking at this big kids' meeting for the high school. Well, I'm going to pretend to be Ms. Johnson, the best English teacher ever, and tell you all about what it's like in her class.First of all, Ms. Johnson is so nice and fun and not boring at all like some teachers can be. She always has a smile on her face and makes learning feel like a game instead of just doing worksheets all day long. We play lots of games and sing songs and watch videos in her class to help us learn new words and grammar stuff.One of my favorite games is called "Vocabulary Charades." Ms. Johnson puts a bunch of new vocabulary words into a hat, and we take turns acting them out while our teammates try toguess the word. I got to be the troll under the bridge once when we read "Three Billy Goats Gruff" - it was epic!I have to say, though, the highlights are definitely when we watch movies and TV shows in English class. Ms. Johnson is really good at finding stuff that's not too babyish for us 3rd graders but also not too advanced. She'll play an episode or short film, and then pause it to ask comprehension questions or explain idioms and slang we might not understand. My personal fave so far has been Shaun the Sheep - that sheepdog always cracking me up.When it comes to the writing and grammar lessons, Ms. Johnson makes those way less painfully boring than you'd think. We do these really fun group storytelling activities where we pass a story around the circle with each person adding a new sentence. You have to be sure to use correct capitalization,punctuation, and follow along with the plot from the previous sentences. Ms. Johnson's rubric has points for using new vocab words we've learned and different types of sentences too. The funniest stories are the ones that go completely off the rails by the end.For grammar, we have these monster puppets that we use to act out the parts of speech. "Verb Monsters" chomp action words, "Adjective Monsters" gobble up describing words, and so on. It's silly but it works - I can identify a complex sentence like nobody's business now.Speaking of speaking, Ms. Johnson is always finding ways to get us up and presenting or debating in front of the class. We start with just reciting tongue twisters and nursery rhymes, then move to short book reports and persuasive speeches. By the end of the year, we're pros at projecting our voices loud and clear. My name is Emily and I'm a student in Mr. Thompson's senior English class. He asked me to come speak to you all today about what we've been learning and doing this year. I'll try my best to explain it in a way that makes sense!In English class this year, we've been reading lots of books and writing all kinds of essays and stories. Some of the books were pretty hard with lots of big words I didn't know, but Mr. Thompson always helps us understand what's going on. We read classics like To Kill a Mockingbird and The Great Gatsby, but also some modern novels too.Reading those classics was kind of boring at first, I'm not gonna lie. All that old-fashioned language and stuff. But Mr. Thompson made them really interesting by having us discuss the deeper meanings and themes. Like in To Kill a Mockingbird, we talked about prejudice and injustice and standing up for what's right. It made me think about those issues in new ways.My favorite novel we read was The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. Have you read that one? It's about two boys growing up in Afghanistan and having this intense friendship that gets messed up. But then one of them gets a chance to redeem himself years later after terrible things happen. I don't want togive away the whole plot, but it's an amazing book that really stuck with me.After reading each book, we had to write analytical essays examining the characters, symbols, and author's perspective. I used to hate writing essays so much! They were just so hard putting all my thoughts into a structured format. Mr. Thompson gave us tons of guidance though. He showed us how to formulate a clear thesis statement, integrate quotes from the text as evidence, and organize our thoughts logically. My essay-writing skills have improved so much this year.We also got to do some creative writing projects which were fun for a change. One of my favorites was writing a two-voice poem taking on the perspectives of two characters from a book. I wrote mine portraying Daisy Buchanan and Jay Gatsby from The Great Gatsby. Trying to capture their voices and inner thoughts was challenging but rewarding.Another major project was our senior thesis paper. This was definitely the hardest writing assignment I've ever done! We had to come up with our own analytical topic relating to a societal issue important to us. Then we had to research it in-depth, formulate an argument, and write this long 15-page paper defending our perspective with lots of evidence.I chose to examine the portrayal of immigrants in literature and how it has evolved over time. It was so much work gathering sources, taking notes, forming my analysis. But I'm actually proud of the final paper I produced. Mr. Thompson said my writing really matured over the process. He pushed us all to think critically and support our arguments with strong reasoning.In addition to books, we've also studied different genres of writing like poetry, drama, memoirs, and speeches. Poetry is another thing I used to find super boring and confusing. But Mr. Thompson broke it down for us, teaching us about devices like metaphor, imagery, and symbolism. Now when I read a poem, I can appreciate the deeper artistry and meaning behind it.My personal favorite unit was on drama. We didn't just read plays, but we actually got to act out and analyze scene performances! This was both really fun and insightful. I got to play Juliet in a scene from Romeo & Juliet, which was awesome even though I kept flubbing my lines during rehearsals. Performing it helped me understand the characters and motives so much better than just reading it.Oh, and I can't forget about our big persuasive speech unit! We had to pick a controversial issue, research both sides, and present a perspective trying to convince the class of our position.I chose to argue against gender discrimination and inequalities that still persist today. It was definitely nerve-wracking getting up in front of everyone, but Mr. Thompson gave lots of tips on things like making eye contact, using hand gestures, varying our tone, and structuring our arguments logically. Public speaking is one of the most useful skills we've practiced this year.So in summary, we've really covered SO MUCH this year. Literary analysis, creative expression, research, argument writing, performance, public speaking - you name it! My writing abilities and overall confidence as a communicator have grown tremendously. 2)部分学生的学习方式仍然停留在初中甚至小学阶段,从不自觉主动地去学习(从他们对作业的认识和处理方式上就可以看出来)3)部分学生抄袭作业,少数学生作业拖拉甚至不交作业3、分析期中考试成绩4、正确看待、冷静分析这次考试成绩二、其次,想跟大家交流四个问题1.首先和大家交流一个问题:孩子上了高中以后,总有一部分家长很纳闷:我家的孩子在小学能考到八九十分,初中也能考到七八十分,为什么到了高中,成绩不令人满意,甚至有些失望呢?这个问题的答案首先与各个学习阶段的特点有关:小学阶段以赏识教育为主,要在很小的时候培养学生的自信心,试卷内容大多与课本有关,因此考试分数自然会很高。
初中则是以普及教育为主,考试会照顾到大部分学生,因此分数也较高。
但是,高中教育,特别是在以高考为最终目标的大背景下,就是以选拔为目的了,所以,考试难度与深度会有很大的提升,得分率自然就会下降,孩子们的考试分数自然会低一些。
所以拿初中甚至小学的分数来衡量孩子们高中的学习,是不科学的。

今天在家长会上能与家长们就我们班学生的学习与发展进行交流,我觉得机会非常宝贵!
我们学生学习英语的机会应该说非常有限的和非常之少的,一方面孩子们有许多功课要学,另一方面许多学生英语课堂效率低下。
下面我就以下5点谈谈学习英语要注意的方面。
1. 英语课堂学习应该注重课堂学习效果,40分钟非常宝贵且有限,我们力争要在这短短的时间内掌握所有的英语知识。
英语当天学习的内容应该当天消化,如果不能及时消化就会积食,造成听课越听越不懂,形成恶性循环!英语学习重在平时,每天做好预习与复习工作。
想要靠临时突击,临时抱佛脚的做法不可取也不可行。
我确信:英语要学好和智商无关,学不好英语的人都是懒惰的人。
所以,在课后一定要主动抽时间为自己补习英语。
学好英语,不外乎就是在听,说,读,写这些方面下功夫。
2. 作业一定要按时独立完成,不要成为学习上的“寄生虫”。
作业是老师检查了解学生知识掌握情况的一个有效途径,要求同学们能如实客观地对待作业。
知之为知之,不知为不知,宁愿独立完成的空几题的作业,也比完全不经过自己大脑思考抄袭来的作业质量高得多。
许多同学自觉性差,平时空空两手回家,早上早早赶来抄,每天我都布置了一定的英语作业,因此请各位家长能关注一下你的子女有没有将作业带回家来做,并督促子女认真复习。
3. 学习习惯是第一生产力。
许多同学英语学习好,并不是他(她)比别人聪明,而是学习习惯比较好。
良好的学习习惯可以大大提高你的学习效果,我们班的陈晓玉,陈玲同学,她们学习态度端正,上课认真,书写工整,正因为如此,无论什么考试都能取得很好的成绩,这与她平时良好的学习习惯是分不开的!而有些
同学你看似认真,却是身在心不在,学习重在表象,完全不扎实,综合素质却没有真正提高。
课外也不下功夫,一堂课几个单词,一两个重点句型下节课过来提问一问三不知,又何谈课外扩展与素质提升?这样的现象很普遍,说到底,还是好的习惯没有养成,不够勤奋。
另外还有几个同学,他们的潜力很大,但因为还不够认真刻苦,所以没有发挥出自己最好的水平,希望家长能够配合老师,把孩子的成绩抓上去。
我坚信:如果您的孩子在您的支持和我的指导下能够及时完成老师布置的任务,那么一定能学好。
要教导您的孩子一开始就要有吃苦耐劳的精神。
坚持严谨的学习作风,成绩马上就会见效。

希望我们家长对子女多一份关爱,督促子女奋发图强,初三一年大有提高的余地!英语偏科是历史原因造成的,但并不是不可根治的,想要证明自己真正有实力那就从偏科的英语入手,重点突破
5.树立正确的英语学习观与知识观!许多学生和家长认为英语学习了没有多大用处,我又不会出国,学两句皮毛可以炫耀就好
了,何必学精通?且不说英语作为一种工具,它对于我们升学、工作、求职有重大意义,同时我认为学习英语的过程也是一个吸收别人长处,观念更新的过程!知识是无价的,知识可以改变命运。
另外,我认为在生活中,家长的理解和支持是形成教育合力的关键因素。
俗话说“土地不种荒一年,子女不教误一生”。
希望家长多与孩子进行平等交流,了解孩子的学习和生活情况。
帮助孩子明确学习目的,树立人生理想。

周末回家孩子肯定会给你们说说班里的情况,相信你们对我们班有所了解,现在我可以告诉大家,能在这个班学习是一种值得骄傲的事情,因为咱们班是一个值得所有老师,所有家长,所有学生都骄傲的班级。
班级团结,学生们上进心很强,而且非常努力,班主任耿老师不仅教学经验丰富,而且班级管理非常严格,任课老师都是咱们年级的优秀教师!所以在这一学期中凡是有活动,考试等咱们班都是第一,大家可以看看我们后面黑板上的奖状!这是最好的证明!用咱们学生的话总结就是“咱班第一已经成为一种潮流”!所以我想对你们说,你们的孩子真的都很棒,即使他可能在某一学科有偏科现象,他也一直在努力,尤其在这样一个优秀的重点班级,你不努力,别人就会超过你!所以今天回家各位家长都要表扬一下自己的孩子! 同时我作为班级英语教师,也给大家说一下咱们学生的英语学习情况!俗话说“亲其师,信其道”,只有让学生喜欢上你的英语课堂,才会主动去学习英语,这种潜力是无限大的,我觉得我和学生们都做到了!因为我们一起努力了4个月,4次考试,4次年级第一,而且2次单科第一都出在咱们班,这真的太不容易了!我觉得让刚入高中的学生以一种这样自信的状态,这样优秀的成绩揭开高中学习的第一页,对他们
