I had happy summer holidays. I went to Beihai with my father this July. The weather was good. We went to the beach. I learnt swimming. I could swim faster and faster.

我度过的愉快的暑假。今年7月，我和爸爸去了北海。天气很好，我们去了海边。我学会了游泳。我能越游越快。

二、My day 我的一天

My day

I always get up at 6:30a.m. I often have breakfast at 7:00a.m. Then, I wave goodbye to my mother and go to school. I return home at 5:00p.m. I often do my homework before dinner. After dinner, I play chess with my father. This is my day.

我总是早上6点半起床。我常常7点吃早餐。然后，我跟妈妈挥手告别去学校。下午5点我回家。我常常在晚饭前写作业。晚饭之后，我和爸爸下象棋。这就是我的一天。

三、My diary 我的日记

My diary

In the morning, I went to the cinema with my sister. We saw a film. In the afternoon, we went to the park. We had a picnic there. We played games. I had a good time today.

早上，我和姐姐去了电影院。我们看了一场电影。下午，我们去了公园。我们在那里野餐。我们玩游戏了。今天我过得很愉快。

The Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important festival in China. All the people like it. People celebrate the festival together. We always have a big family dinner on the Mid-Autumn Festival. We eat fruits and mooncakes, too. We look at the moon. We also drink Chinese tea. We are very happy.

中秋节是中国的一个重要的节日。所有人都喜欢它。人们在一起庆祝这个节日。在中秋和我们总是吃一顿丰盛的家庭团圆饭。我们也吃水果和月饼。我们赏月。我们也喝中国茶。我们都很高兴。

五、Help old people 帮助老人

Help old people

Last Sunday, my classmates and I went to the Old People’s Family. There are many old people there. We would like to help them.

Lingling and Anne helped them to wash their clothes. Mingming and Peter helped them to clean their rooms. What did others do? We sang to them and made them happy.

We had a good time there, and the old people were happy. We will go there next Sunday.

上周日，我和同学们去了老人之家。那有许多老人。我们愿意帮助他们。

玲玲和安妮帮助他们洗衣服。明明和彼得帮助他们打扫房间。其他人做什么？我们为他们唱歌让他们开心。

We live on the earth. We love our earth. But there’s something wrong with the earth. The air is not clean. The river is dirty and the weather gets warmer and warmer. What should we do for our earth? We should save water. We should plant more trees. We shouldn’t litter. We shouldn’t kill wild animals. And when we go somewhere, we should walk, shouldn’t drive.
