The film depicts green house effect caused by weather changes, the earth into a second Ice Age story.

Professor Hall, a scientist on climate change was under observation and study of prehistoric climate law, predicted that a serious green house effect will cause the shape drop in temperature and the Earth will once again in to the Ice Age. Results, this prediction became the reality, tornadoes, tsunamis and storm followed, plunged into an unprecedented human catastrophe end. At the same time, his son Sam, rushing to New York to rescue his girlfriend regardless of danger. In the process of rescuing, dedicate wave of the film moving between father and son. People show their sincere affection under the disaster.

Actually, this was my second time to see “the day after tomorrow”. The first time, as many others, I see the contradiction between human and nature. Some serious problems like environmental pollution and energy deficiency. I also realized how small human is in the disaster. Then, I think about how to protect the environment and save energy to avoid this situation happens.

But this time, I didn’t see the film form environment, but from the human. I saw people’s kindness, affection, friendship and love in the face of death. This time, I really feel responsibility, persistent and commitment.

What cause the disaster? It is referred in the movie, the destruction of human beings to the earth causes the green house effect continuously. We did the worst and the most wrong thing to the earth. We must properly protect the earth as soon as possible.
