1.get the Ss to memorize English words firmly and quickly by using the
memory methods;
2.Stimulate Ss’ interesting of learning English.
3.Get Ss to know that there are always solutions to problems, and they
should try their best to find ways to overcome the difficulties.

VI. Teaching process
Step 1 Warming up
Show some pictures on the screen to show that there are truly ways
to memorize things for people.
Step 2 Lead-in
There are many ways to memorize the English words, such as 音形义结合，逻辑记忆，联想记忆，等等。Today we are going to learn three kinds of them: Division(拆分记忆法)，Comparison（比较记忆法），Stories（编故事法）
Step 3 Presentation
1. Division 拆分记忆法
a. Show the Chinese words: 赢. It can be divided into five parts: 亡口月贝凡to help us memorize the shape of the difficult words. So this method—division can be used in memorizing the English words. Now let’s try it out.
Show some examples
Can—did--ate 候选人
能够do的过去式吃的过去式（能够做吃的东西的人就能做食神的候选人）

b. 26个英文字母的编码系统
2. Comparison 比较记忆法
Still use the Chinese to make an example: 拆---折。The difference between these two words is just a dot. We can memorize this difference to distinguish these two words.
In English we can also use the Comparison method to distinguish some similar words.
Show an example: pane 窗格玻璃—p l ane飞机The letter l in plane stands for a stick棍子. So we can image that a stick fell down from the plane and broke the pane.
3.Stories 串烧故事法
We can link many words together by using the way of making stories. Step 4 Practice
Use the ways mentioned above to memorize the following words as quickly as possible.
Words: disabled, hearing, eyesight, ambition, dictation, suitable, noisy, as far as I am concerned, bachelor’s degree, recommend, lecture, essay, tutor.
