专八翻译和写作问题讲评杨桂红各位同学，我原本不打算做所谓的讲评了，因为测试试卷只是一个参加了专八强化的“依据”，可是我回头发现不少问题，有些问题如果不纠正，可能通过专八很成问题，这让我挺担忧的，所以我做了这次讲评，请各位阅读，避免不应有的错误。
从目前来看，超过半数的人翻译和写作达不到合格要求。
第一部分：翻译一、中译英1.蔚蓝的海，蔚蓝的天；2.蔚蓝的海和天的尽头，堆着白得发亮的云的下边，立着一叶静穆着的兰灰色的帆。
3.已到了该撒网的水域了。
4.海沉默着，船上的五个人也还沉默着。
5.三个年迈的渔夫铁青着脸，在船舱里无声地抽烟；6.阿根和鸽子坐在船板上，相互用眼睛传递着惶恐。

英语是语法结构型，它的句子不能随意缺少主语和谓语，一套完整的主谓语就应该断句；而汉语不是语法型，它的行文主要是表达意思，意思没有完，可以“一逗到底”。
如果汉语没有主语或谓语，翻译成英文时，你也没有主语或谓语，那么就不是英文翻译，这是我们首先应该高度具备的差异意识，否则你就无法做中译英。
请看句1，中文就没有动词，因此有百分之十的同学就没有添加动词，翻译成：The blue sea and the blue sky。
正确的翻译应该是：The sea was blue and the sky was blue。
除了主谓语问题，理解问题还牵涉到一个句子中的某些隐含东西，比如动词及其施动者之间的关系，以及哪些信息属于重要信息等。
强化中我们强调，英语的重要信息往往要放在前面。
请看第三句“已到了该撒网的水域了”，大部分人翻译成：It’s time to cast the net。
