avista酒店位子就在卡塔海滩的边上，从酒店到kata海滩距离很近，步行就6-8分钟而已。
酒店前面的确有个大斜坡，保守估计起码超过40度，但这个坡不长，1-2分钟内就走得上去了，除非你是行动不便的人士，譬如是残障需要坐轮椅的，靠自己摇车上坡基本没戏。
对于60岁以下的中年轻人而言，上坡基本没有难度，就当是上几级台阶的感觉，基本可以无视，当然要是年纪大于60岁的爷爷奶奶们真觉得自己腿脚不好，也可以不选择的。
酒店很人性化，办理入住时，只要拿出护照和订房的确认单给服务员，她们就会全程帮你搞定，你只要坐在沙发上等候片刻，等候期间酒店的服务小姐会送上消毒毛巾、鲜花手链和好喝的welcome drink饮料给你，你唯一要做的就是在酒店的确认表上，留个地址和email，最后签上大名就ok了。
接着有专人引导你到房间的，酒店的服务员一般对你介绍服务的时候，都是说英语，你只要稍微听下就可以明白，实在听不懂就点头，哈哈！如果订的是蜜月房，酒店还有蜜月布置，图片之前有童鞋拍过，迟点我也可以上传，入住后会有水果果盘送，你的行李有专人会送入房，记得给个小费哦！酒店内环境优美，中心位子有个两级落差的无边泳池，水深1.6好像，池边有躺椅，酒店还有健身房、阅览室、台球室、上网室、spa按摩房等，特别说下上网的问题，酒店大堂有4台公共电脑供住客上网使用，上网室有2台，如果是用电脑不多的童鞋，可以用公共电脑，就不必带上笔记本了。
全酒店wifi无线热点覆盖，都可以用无线设备免费上网，上网的账号和密码入住时候服务员会给你的，有效期是你入住酒店的期间。
上网浏览速度还行，就是浏览国内网站的速度相对会较慢，譬如岛多多网站就打开的不是太利索。
酒店房间内的布置较新，电源插座都是多规格的，换句话说就是不带转换接头使用携带的电器设备，也没有多大的问题。
