5.1英语口语

英语口语考试形式一般分为自我陈述和老师问答两个阶段，不管是哪种形式，都有可能存在着日常生活层面的内容和专业知识层面的内容，所以考生在准备英语复试面试环节时，要加强这两方面的培养和提高，即日常交流层面的培养和专业词汇的强化记忆，以下是给考生所提供的英语口语素材和复习建议，在你拿到这些相关资料后，务必要做到如下3点：

1、结合自己的实际情况，写出适合自己的自我介绍；

Hello, my dear professors. My name is Lily and I am from Shandong University. I want to get this opportunity to study in this university, which is a long-held dream of me.

First I want to explain why I choose this university as the place for me to continue my education. As we all know, Peking University is among the top universities in China, especially when it comes to the study of foreign languages. I firmly believe that I will benefit a lot if I can study here. Another reason for me to choose this university is that I want to stay in Beijing because there are so many opportunities here in this city, for me to improve myself, in terms of academic achievement or practical skills. Then I want to say that I am really interested in linguistics. Many students may think that linguistics is a very difficult and boring subject. But I think otherwise. Good Morning, professors. I am Yu Xiaohui, an undergraduate student from Ocean University of China, Qingdao, specializing in English language literature and I will get my bachelor degree in June 2012.

Now I will introduce myself briefly. I am 24 years old，born in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province. I am proud of talking about my hometown which has been recognized by the State Council of China as a worthy cultural-historic city and it is also home to China's oldest trademark bronze plate. What’s more, Jinan is known for its beautiful natural sites, and is one of the greatest tourist destinations in Shandong Province. I believe you must know the three most famous sceneries in Jinan: Baotu Spring Park, Daming Lake and Thousand-Buddha Mountain.

Then I will talk about my study. During my 4 college years, I spent most of my time on study, and I have passed TEM4 and TEM8 and acquired basic knowledge of English language literature, cultures and linguistics. I also take an active part in the volunteering club on campus. With my continued efforts and cheerful personalities, I’ve kept on outstanding academic record and won annual academic scholarship on campus and a national award for outstanding students.
