三、教学过程Ⅰ. Warming-up and revision教师进教室后,使用祈使句请学生们完成一系列动作:Please stand up/ sit down. Close the door, please. Look at me and listen to me.Don’t open your books. Don’t talk. Let’s begin our class.学生听教师的指令完成各种动作,教师也可将指令写到黑板上,让学生从视觉上考察祈使句的特点。

背景材料:美国学校的校规(school rules)
美国一些学校的规定很严格(strict),如上学不许戴帽子(hats)、不许戴墨镜
(sunglasses)、不许穿过肥的裤子(fat pants)、食品中不可以带香蕉、上衣必须扎在
裤子里等。有些学校还规定,上学使用的书包必须是透明(transparent)或网状的(netlike),
必须能一眼看清里面的东西。这可能与美国校园里曾发生过枪击事件(gun fighting)有关
吧。说起书包,人们总认为中国学生的书包太重了,里面书本太多了。美国的课本其实也很
重,每本书都是彩色印刷(color printing)并配有图片,每本书有好几百页,很重,像中
国的百科全书(encyclopaedia)一样,而且必须天天带。所以,很多学校都设有供学生存
放个人物品的储物柜(lockers),学生们可以把所有的书都存在柜子里,每天上课前拿出
