May be you could help me, could you?Lizhen: Of course, can you tell me your annoying things?Lihao: Ok, one of my roommates has impolite behavior. As he often makes noise after he gets up early while we are still sleeping. And he telephoned his girlfriend every night for a long time when we are doing homework or studying. I can’t stand with him.Lizhen: I agree with you, these impolite behavior will make everyone unhappy and interfere with others. Have you ever tried to talk to him?Lihao: No, I don't do it because I don't want to start off on the wrong foot with him. However he is my roommate, I’ll live with him i n the future two years.Lizhen: Oh, Lihao. You must have a talk to him. If just let it be, it must be a day that everyone depart him. And if you try in a sincere way. I think he will understand you.Lihao: Thank you. Lizhen. It’s so kind of you.Lizhen: You are welcome! We are close friends, so this is what I must do .Only the Fittest SurvivesLihao: Hi, Lizhen, how are you going?Lizhen: Very well, thank you.Lihao: It is quite common that we often compete with each other in our life, so many people believe that only the fittest survive in competitive situations, what do you think of it?Lizhen: En...to be honest, I think they are right, because only one can be winner in many cases, and that means we must compete with others if we want to win. Lihao: What you've said is reasonable, but in my opinion, in the animal word, “only the fittest survive” may be irrefutable; but in human word, it does not apply. In our society, an individual's strength is insignificant, so in many times we should cooperate with others that we can be strong.Lizhen: I don’t think so. Only by competing can we be stronger. According to “only the fittest survive”, if we want to win others, then we have to be stronger than others. And in fact, it is full of competition, both in school and in life, so I think that competing is more important for us.Lihao: But if the world like what you describe, all of us shouldn’t believe or help others even “only the fittest survive” because we are competition and without any cooperation at all.Lizhen: Your thought is too extreme.Lihao: So you can’t deny that cooperation is very important in our society. Too much emphasis on competition can’t do anything.Lizhen: Maybe you are right, competition together with cooperation help us succeed.A: Nobody could have fail to notice the fact that happiness is becoming more and more important nowadays.B: Yes, and according to history, the question what leads to happiness is always asked by us. So, what do you think that can make you happy?A: In my opinion, the reputation, the authority and the wealth may have a role in achieving happiness.B: But there’s always the case that famous or rich people may have to go to psychological doctors. Even the wealth and the reputation can not clear out their worriers.A: In some points, you’re right. I think these are the base of happiness. In another word, we may feel happier compared with the case in which we are great lack of them.B: Yes, I agree with you.But there must be something else.A: So, In your opinion what shall we do to achieve happiness?B: When we look at those people who think they are happy, we can find something in common. They are confident, optimistic and they have a good control of themselves. But the most important thing is that they enjoy their lives.A: Yeah, no matter what difficulties we may face, we should enjoy our lives. At least we are alive. We are alive so that we can change many things, even the world. B: I can’t agree more. As is written in the book 《Gone With The wind》, tomorrow is another day. When we open our eyes in the morning, we will think that another brand-new day starts again. Confronted with such a hopeful and bright day, we can feel happiness coming from our heart. So, just enjoy our lives, and we can achieve happiness.Lizhen:You'll soon graduate from your university in the two years. Do you have any plans for the future?Lihao:I'm planning to go to graduate school, but I also want to find a job. Otherwise, I'll have nowhere to go if I fail the entrance exam.Lizhen:Do you have a clear career path to follow?Lihao:career path? I'm not sure.Lizhen:what kind of job do you want after graduation?Lihao:I want to become a professor, a lawyer, an editor, a civil servant... Lizhen:wait! You can't do so many things at the same time. What exactly do you want?Lihao:I don't know. Do you have any advice for me?Lizhen:yeah, you should first decide what kind of career you really want, plan your career path, and then try your best to achieve your goal.Lihao:I think perhaps I need to buy a few years while I figure out about my career. Lizhen:no, you can't waste your time wandering around. If you want a job that requires a higher degree or diploma, you should focus on your graduate school entrance exam; if you want a job that needs working experience, you should start job-hunting and consider further studies at a later timeLihao:thank you so much for your advice. I'll think it over. How to Develop Confidence in SpeakingA: Hi, Jack, you look not very happy, what's wrong with you.B: Oh! John, I have gotten in trouble, I need your help!A: What's that? Tell it to me.B: It happened like this. you know, I'm looking for a new job, and I successfully entered the second stage, but we were told to give a speech at the time of the interview. I need to come up with a good speech, I know you must good at it, what should I do?A: I see. That sounds not very difficult, I can give you some advice.B: I am all ears.A: The first, you should be prepared to give a speech in advance. In that way, you can express what you want to say without interruption.B: I'm ready for it.A: The second, it is important for you to focus on your audience and connect with your audience. Because it can make your speech more contagious.B: It seems that I should add something to my speech draft.A: The last, and it is the most important. You must have faith in yourself. With a smiling face, and people would be willing to listen to you.B: Just this?A: Yes, this is enough.B: Why I am still not very at ease ?A: Be confident! I think you are sure to be hired.B: thanks. I'll do my best.。

They live in China. They eat bamboo shoots and leaves. Baby giant pandas spend a lot of time drinking their mothers’milk.Mother giant pandas have only one or two babies at a time. When the babies are born, they look like little white mice. There are only about a thousand giant pandas in the world now. Their number is getting smaller every year. If farmers keep taking the land, giant pandas will have nowhere to live. Also, people hunt them for their fur. If this continues, there will be no giant pandas in the world.16Timmy is a teenager. He lives in a small town. He survived an earthquake several years ago.First, he heard a big noise in the shopping centre. It was like the sound thunder makes. Then the noise got really loud. It sounded like bombs under the ground. After that, bricks and pieces of glass fell down. When the noise ended, Timmy was trapped and he could not get out. For a moment, he was so frightened that he could hardly think about anything. Then he calmed down and began screaming for help. Finally, people moved away the bricks and stones and saved him.17The main character of this game is Itchy Feet. One day, he had a very strange dream. In his dream, he saw a golden cloud. These words were written on it: ‘Welcome, travellers! See those big colourful clouds withquestions on them? You earn a point every time you answer a question correctly. When you have earned enough points, a cloud will come down and carry you off to a place you have never been to before.’This game has eight levels, and each level will take you about an hour to finish.if you are smart, you can travel around the world in eight hours!18Dear SandyI have just listened to a programme on the radio. It was about a new CD-ROM pack called ‘Daily English’. It is a new course from Australia. The pack includes a book and five CD-ROMs. It is very good for tourists and students. I’m sure we can learn a lot from it. We can learn about how to use the telephone and how to ask and answer questions. We can also learn to talk about the weather and the time. The course covers many topics.I am going to order a pack online. Do youwant me to order one for you too?19Dear Mr WuOur class has decided to hold a charity show. We call it ‘Sunshine For All ’. The show will be held at 7.30 p.m. on the 29th of April. It will finish at 9.30 p.m. We want to raise money for a charity called Project Hope. We think it does a very important job. The tickets cost ¥20 each. Many classmates have volunteered to do some work for the show. Kitty and I will design the poster. Millie will be the hostess of the show. She will also help Simon organize a play. Daniel and Kitty will sing a song.We hope to see you there!Sandy20UNICEF was set up in 1946 to help children after the war in Europe. These children’s lives were changed because of the war. Now, UNICEF helps children all over the world. It works in 158 countries. It helps governments and families make the world a better place for children.UNICEF gets its money from donations. It raises money by selling Christmas cards and organizing other fund-raising activities. People can help UNICEF by doing voluntary work.UNICEF believes that all children should have clean water and food so that they can be healthy. It also believes that they should go to school instead of working to support their families.21Halloween is on October 31st. It is a Western festival.People celebrate it in many ways. Children wear special costumes and masks on Halloween. Many children play a game called ‘trick or treat’. They knock on their neighbours’doors and shout ‘trick or treat’.Their neighbours usually give them some candy as a ‘treat’. If the children do not get any candy, they can play a trick on their neighbours. Some people also make lanterns out of big orange pumpkins. They cut out the eyes, the nose and the sharp teeth. They put candles in them so the light shines through the eyes, the nose and the teeth.22Swimming is very popular in summer. People like swimming in summer because water cools them down. But if you swim in the wrong place, it may be dangerous. In the past few years many swimmers have died in the water. However, some people are still not careful enough when swimming. They often think they swim so well that nothing can happen to them. Summer is coming soon. If you go swimming, remember these two rules: don’t get into the water when you are alone and don’t get into the water if there is a ‘noswimming’sign. If you remember these rules, swimming will be safer.23Dear JohnHow are you? I left school early yesterday because the snowstorm started again in the afternoon and it got worse later. This morning I read a newspaper article about a car accident. A man named Su Ning called 110 at 7.40p.m using his mobile phone. His car crashed into a tree while he was driving in the snowstorm. He and his wife were trapped in the car. The snow was heavy and it covered everything. The policemen arrived at once and sent them to hospital. Luckily, they were not hurt. What about London? Do you have snowstorms there? Please e-mail me soon.Sandy24Ten years ago, mobile phones were rather expensive. Only important or richpeople had them. However, these days more people have them in their hands, even high school students. It is true that mobile phones can be very useful. They are an easy way to keep in touch with friends and family members anywhere and at any time. But we also hear mobile phones ringing in places like classrooms, cinemas and museums. The sound is very loud and can disturb people. Some drivers have accidents because they use their mobile phones while driving. So, are mobile phones really a good thing?25Dinosaurs lived on Earth a long time ago. We now know that the first dinosaur appeared about 230 million years ago. However, Scientists believe they were not the first animals on Earth. There were hundreds of different kinds of dinosaurs, but they didn’t live at the sametime. Some dinosaurs were really small. One of the smallest dinosaurs was about one metre long and weighed about three kilograms. Others were really big. Some very large ones weighed over 100,000 kilograms and some were about 40 metres long. Some dinosaurs ate plants and others ate meat, but they didn’t eat grass. All dinosaurs had four legs and lived on land.26New York, London, Paris and many other cities are exciting places to live. There are lots of interesting things to see and do.But there are serious problems in big cities too. It is expensive to live there, and there are too many people. Every year many people move to the big cities to find work, study at good schools and receive high-quality medical care. But sometimes these people can’t find work or good places to live. And it is hard to keep big cities safeand clean. So, before people move to a big city, they should think about the problems they might have to deal with there.27Everyone needs friends. There is an old saying, ‘Friends are God’s way of taking care of us.’But how do you find real friendship and keep it?First, you should choose a friend. A good friend should be kind and helpful. For example, if you have a bad day, a good friend should listen to your complaints and do his or her best to help. But friendships are not always perfect. Even best friends have fights. When you have a fight with your friend, try to talk to him or her.If he or she doesn’t want to talk, don’t be sad. You could write a letter instead.28My family has just moved into a new flat.It has five rooms. There is a large sitting room. My parents and I often watch TV here. Opposite the living room is the kitchen. I’m good at cooking so I sometimes help my mum make the dinner in it.There are two bedrooms and a bathroom.I have my own bedroom. There is a big, comfortable bed and a small sofa in it. I can invite my friends to come and see me here.I have put some beautiful flowers on the balcony. My family’s new flat is very comfortable.29All around the world, people drink tea. But tea does not mean the same thing to everyone. In different countries, people have very different ideas about drinking tea.In China people like to have tea together with their friends. They drink tea at any time of the day. They put only tea leaves in their cups. They prefer tea with nothing in it.Tea is also popular in Japan. People have tea every day. But the way they drink it is different from that in China. In the USA, people drink tea at breakfast or after meals. They usually use tea bags to make their tea.30We have a students’radio station in our school. It started two years ago. I have been a member of the radio station for two years.Every morning we tell the students about the weather and the latest news, plus some special messages that the teachers want us to mention. We also have a special programme that tells students the things they should or shouldn’t do when they prepare for their exams. When parents come to visit the school, we always play songs sung by the students, and we also report special events.I will graduate soon. I’ll really miss theradio station.。

Both our feelings and our bodies get upset. We can even get emotionally and physically sick if we have too much stress for too long.Stress can come at us from every direction. For instance, it can come from fights with other people. It can come when we have too many things to do and too little time to do them. It can also come when we do not have enough money to pay for what we want.Since stress can make us sick, we have to learn how to deal with it. There are good ways and bad ways to do so. We should deal with stress in good ways, of course. Good ways to cut down on stress include changing our lifestyles. For example, we can learn either to get along with people or to stay away from them. We can decide what to do now, what to do later, and what to leave off doing forever. We can also figure out how to get money or we can cut down on what we want.We should not deal with stress in bad ways because bad ways to cut down on stress just lead to more troubles, for example, skipping out and leaving our work undone, blaming our problems on someone else, stealing or cheating. I think it is health. You can take away our money, house, car, or even our clothes and e can survive. But if our health as taken away, e ould surely die. That is hy e al ays try to eat in a healthy ay and exercise regularly. In order to eat healthily, I usually avoid eating food high in fat, like French fries or cookies. I also eat little meat. I eat a lot of vegetables and fresh fruit hich are full of vitamins.Taking exercise every day helps us build a strong body. Regular exercise is an important part of keeping me healthy. What's more, I think friends are an important part of one's health. Many studies sho that people ith a ide range of social contacts get sick less than those ho don't. I al ays feel better hen I am ith friends than hen I am alone. When I am ith my friends, I al ays laugh. Laughing is also an important part of health. By spending time ith my friends, I can keep my mind as ell as my body happy. These things sound easy to do, but not many people can manage them. I think a strong ill is necessary if e ant to keep healthy.(3)job InterviewIn order to make a good impression during a job interview, you need to prepare yourself for the interview. You must arrive in plenty of time for the interview,so that you give yourself a little time to relax before the interview begins. The impression you make as you walk into the room is very important. Try to find out if the company or organization has rules about dress. Then try to dress according to their regulations. You also need to plan what you are going to say. In some interviews you will have to do a lot of talking, and in others you will only have to answer a few questions about your education and experience. You need to have answers ready about yourself, your schoolwork, your strong points, your reasons for applying for the job, and the salary you expect. You will also be allowed to ask some questions of your own. The questions you ask will show the interviewer that you have given careful thought to the position. You can ask questions like these. What duties will I have to do in the job? Will I be allowed to join a health insurance program? Does the company provide opportunities for further education?Graduates’ pressure in finding jobsNowadays, more and more university graduates complain that graduation does not equate to employment. They experience great difficulties finding satisfactory jobs. What is the cause of this phenomenon. In my opinion, there are four causes:First, graduates lack experience. They spend most of their time at school studying academic subjects and lack relevant job training. Only after graduation do they realize it’s hard t o find jobs.Second, competition among graduates grows more bitter and more bitter and bitter. The supply of university graduates exceeds social demand. This results in a decreased chance for any individual graduate to find a job. From .Third, some students don’t study hard. Some of them skip classes just because they have no interest in certain subjects. Some play computer games or pursue other interests. Some sleep in class or in the library. Then they leave the sheltered environment of the un iversity campus, to discover they don’t have adequate knowledge to apply for many positions, which makes them feel lost and frustrated. Finally, some graduates are conceited. They lack experience but ask for a high salary, which is impractical. So, university students should try their best to change this situation. When they are in school, they should make the most of their time and put their heart into their studies. They can hold part-time jobs in their spare time to accumulate relevant work experience. They should take part in some social activities and provide themselves with special training, if possible. When they graduate and apply for jobs, they should attach more importance to accumulating experience than to their starting salary. On University Stu dents’ Pressure in Finding JobsAbout a decade ago, university students could find satisfactory and enviable jobs after their graduation. But now, things are different. Today's university students usually have much pressure in finding fairly good jobs. They always say disappointedly that graduation means joblessness. Why nowadays university students have so much pressure in finding jobs?In my opinion, this kind of pressure is mainly caused by three reasons. Firstly, the government is enrolling more and more university students year by year. And the growth of the students' number has surpassed that of the need of the society. So, when so many students graduate at a time, the chance of finding jobs becomes tiny. Secondly, today's university students, most of them are the "only-child", who are more mentally frail. Since they are indulged greatly at home and haven't been trained to do things on their own, once it is their turn to go out of the campus and find jobs by themselves and decide what kind of jobs to choose, they feel bewildered and don't know what to do. If their first try fails, they will be frustrated and think that it is really hard to find jobs. Thirdly, some university students are not qualified for good and challenging jobs. After entering the university, they don't study as hard as they did in high schools. They begin to sleep during the class or even be absent for classes. Some are addicted to computer games or Jin Yong's novels, or step into the two-person-world too early. Because these things have taken up so much of their time and energy, their study is neglected. After four years of university life, they haven't gained the knowledge those fairly good jobs or certain positions require.(4)The importance of a good international relationship(5)The key factors for successAs a saying goes, success is equal to %99 sweat plus 1% inspiration. It's true that if you want to succeed , you have to work hard.As all of us know, a strong will, perseverance , confidence and diligence. .. Are the e ssentials factors of success. Firstly I think man of strong will and perseverance always has an aggressive spirit. He can stick to his cause no matter how tough it might be. Se condly he should be full of confidence . He shows no frustration and powerlessness in the face of difficulty, but with confidence and strength soar he is ready to meet the next difficulty. So, believe yourself and trust yourself is the most important thing. Fin d something you really interest and trying to do it until then you will find everything i s so easy. Because you begin to take your first step, don't worry and keep learning also don't give it up. Thirdly diligence plays an important role on the way to our success. As the saying goes: "Diligence is the means by which one makes up for one's dullness ". And life is short and we have too much to do . Without diligence, no one can achiev e anything. What's more, modesty is also one of the factors to one's success. There is an old saying: "Modesty helps one to progress andpride makes one leg behind. " Ever yone has his own strong points of which he may have too high an opinion. Theimportant thing is to be modest and learn from others'strong points. A modest person never hesitates to consult those who are inferior to him. For he understands thatthe range of knowledge is larger .In a word, a man who wants to be triumphant must have a strong will, be confident, be diligent. As a saying goes: "no pains, no gains! "Nothing succeeds like confidence. When you are truly confident,it radiates from you like sunlight, and attracts success to you like a magnet. It's important to believe in yourself.Believe that you can do it under any circumstances, because if you believe you can, then you really will. The belief keeps you searching for answers, which means that pretty soon you will get them. Confidence is more than an attitude. It comes from knowing exactly where you are going and exactly how you are going to get there. It comes from acting with integrity and confidence. It comes from a strong sense of purpose. It comes from a strong commitment to take responsibility, rather than just letting life happen. One way to develop self-confidence is to do the thing you fear and to get a record of successful experiences behind you.Confidence is compassionate and understanding. It is not arrogant. Arrogance is born out of fear and insecurity, while confidence comes from strength and integrity. Confidence is not just believing you can do it. Confidence is knowing you can do it.Know that you are capable of accomplish anything you want, and live your life with confidence.Anything can be achieved through focused, determined effort and self-confidence.If your life is not what you want it to be,you have the power to change it,and you must make the changes on a moment by moment basis. Live your priorities. Live with your goals and your plan of action. Live each moment with your priorities in mind. Act with your own purpose, and you will have the life you want.(6)It is exciting to visit different places. As you travel, you will see typical beautiful scenery of the region. Besides, you can meet and make friends with people of different colors and races. Finally, you can get to know the customs and living habits of the local people. Today people are so fond of travelling that tourism has become one of the fastest growing industries in most countries. The main reason why people travel is, perhaps for pleasure. For instance, having worked hard throughout the weekdays, people will find a weekend trip to the nearby mountains or beaches a real relaxation. For another example, spending an annual holiday travelling abroad is an especially satisfying experience for those who do not have much of an opportunity to be away from their homelands. When people return from their travel, they will generally feel fresh and energetic, ready to work harder.Travelling is also one of the best means for learning. You may have read or heard about something but you can never get an accurate picture of it until you see it for yourself. Seeing is believing. Furthermore, if you are careful observer, you can learn much during your travel about the geography, biology and history of the places you visit. No matter how well educated you are, there is always a lot for you to learnthrough travelling. The knowledge acquired from travel, as you will have found later in your life, is no less valuable than that from any influential reference book.(7)1. Do you think marriages based on love are more successful than arranged marriages?(1)Yes, I think marriages based on love are more successful than arranged marriages. We can’t be happy if we get married without love. Although arranged marriages will g et the support of our parents, but marry someone we don’t understand is really terrible. Furthermore, arranged marriages have a higher divorce rate. In a word, marriages based on love are more successful.(2)No, I think arranged marriages are more successful than marriages based on love. Our parents hope us to be matched for marriage(门当户对), it contains their love for us. What’s more? They have a lot of experience on insight into others, so they can’t be wrong.2. Where do you want to go to prepare for your marriage? And why?(1)I’d rather stay at home than going out for my marriage. Because it will save a lot of money for our future life. I wouldn’t like the life with no money to use after the marriage.(2)I will choose to spend my honeymoons on travelling abroad. It is the most important days of my life. The beautiful scenery will become the most unforgettable experience of my memory.3.what do you think of Qianzhongshu's words: marriage is the grave of love?I don’t think so .Marriage brings responsib ility to the couple, but it is not the necessary reason to destroy love. Many old couples’ love can prove all of this, the couples may have disagreements, quarrels after their marriages. But if they only put judgement on the things instead of complainting of others, the bad things will go away soon. Moreover , the relationship will become more intimate between the couples. The children are the achievement of love. With the child , the marriage becomes more beautiful.4.Do you accept flash marriage? why or why not ?Yes ,because we can take the chance to have the person who you like very much at the first sight to be our partner in time .Moreover, as we all know in modern times ,time is a very important factor ,flash marriage saves much time compared to the common marriage .Meanwhile ,in correct time run into the right person is the most important ,and the speed of marriage is less influential in one’s happiness. Finally, whether the love of Marathon type can definitely understand the other party, can definitely promise marriage of last long happiness? Appearantly the answer is not.No, Firstly, as in flash marriage we don’t learn much about the other part , so in some degree the marriage will not last long, and the happiness very short ,but the harm it does to us can be very great . Also, some persons who are for the flash marriage may have the purpose of getting the partner’s property or some otherbenefits, so that kind of happiness is not true. when the other person find out that ,the emotion between the two person will be likely to break. Thus, the flash marriage may raise the rate of divorce, and make the society less harmonious. Last but not the least ,I am a traditional person and flash marriage disobey the tradition of china.5.What are the important qualities in choosing your marriage partner?A. Well, In my opinion, Be effort is the first important. That is, putting a lot of time and energy into the marriage in order for the marriage to become what we want it to be. Efforts will lead the marriage to a bright future. Then, supportive, I will be much more respectful of my wife if she support me without reserve. Otherwise, if I have difficulties I'll feel as though she's adding to my troubles. Third, be optimism is weighty too, when the family is facing something tough, Optimistic will help us to make it through.6.What do you think is the reason which resulted the increasing divorce rate in modern society?A. I think one of the most important reason is the financial situation. As economic developing, the personal incoming increase, the financial dependence become weaker and weaker, that lead the divorce rate increase. In the past or some poverty-stricken areas, where people live with low living standards, to live together will save more money than live alone, the divorce rate could be low. So, as economic situation improves, the divorce rate increases .(8)Good Manners, An Expectation for Chinese and foreigners AlikeWith China's door opened wider to the outside world, more and moreforeigners come to the country for work, studies and sightseeing. Out of sucha large contingent of foreigners it is quite natural for one or two to behaverudely or even savagely. Upon this we may well show our indignation andtreat them according to law. But it seems less necessary if we take easy sucha rare case instead of a matter of principle. Besides, we should examineourselves too.Taking the example of Real Madrid's lately tour to China, reports criticized afew group members accompanying the team for behaving arrogantly andrudely, it is of course a problem of their "quality". However, shouldn't ourorganizers be partly blamed for their over-enthusiasm that has spoiled thoseelated football stars? What's more, sometimes our own behaviors don't turn out satisfactory uponsomething seeming to be a trivial. On August 4 the Wuhan Evening carriedthe following report. At 9am of August 3, a sweltering hot day, Mrs. Yan waswaiting for a taxi by a taxi stop with her two small children. Many other people were also waiting and when a car was approaching they rushed on. So Mrs. Yan, holding her children, was unable to get her turn when five or six cars passed. At the moment another car arrived a foreign man in his fifties, who had been waiting beside Mrs. Yan, rushed over, opened the door, made a warm gesture to invite Mrs. Yan to enter, and after she and her children seated themselves in the car, he closed the door and walked away. Only by then Mrs. Yan understood that the foreigner, who had been standing under the scorching sun for quite a long time, was only intentionally to get a car for her instead of for himself. Mrs. Yan later wrote specially to the local newspaper to express her thanks.According to our logic, the foreigner may, through such a thing, look down upon the "quality" of the Chinese nationals, but actually it is we who first bundled the matter up with the "principle", for when people were talking over the matter they didn't forget to praise the foreign man as a "living Lei Feng". But I'd rather believe that the foreigner only did what he considered as what he should do in a civilized society. The matter reminds us that when we criticize some foreigners' rude behaviors we should also learn from those who behave better than us. After all, basic manners are required at any time and in any civilized country no matter in the past or at present.(People's Daily Aug 14, 2003)。
