1.What natural sound do you like the most?

I enjoy the sound of rain, cause it can make me feel peaceful and calmed down. When I hear the sound of rain, I can feel that it is washing away the dirt of the city, and after the rain, a fresh world will appear in front of you.

2.What sounds do you dislike?

I hate the noise of the train. Simply because my hometown is close to

a railway station and the noise is so disturbing .at night I have a hard

time falling asleep and wake up tired in the morning because of the noise.

3.Does your school have quiet places for studying?

That’s for sure./yeah/definitely. I enjoy the atmosphere in the school library . it is a quiet place for study. I can easily concentrate on my book.

Besides, when I feel tired, I’d like to drink a cup of coffee. The café is just on the second floor of our library.

4.What are some places where there is a lot of noise?

Nowadays there are many places filled with noise, such as the market, the busy street, the big factory, the airport and things like that.

5.Do you mind noises?

Of couse. Sleep

Cooking

1.Do you know how to cook?

I’m afraid not. I’m busy with my studies every day and I have no time to learn how to cook. But if I had the time, I would learn it from my mother. She is really good at cooking,especially Chinese cuisine.

2.Do you like cooking?

not really. Cooking is not my cup of tea. I think cooking is a waste of time since time is so precious today. I would rather eat in a restaurant instead of cooking a meal by myself.

3.Have you thought about learning how to cook?

It has never crossed my mind. Cooking will be the last thing that I want to do cause I suppose it is time-consuming and I’m busy with my school work now so I cant afford the time.

4.Do you think everyone should learn how to cook?

Not necessarily. Since there are tons of restaurants everywhere. You are able to choose whatever you like to eat instead of cooking a meal for yourself. It is time-saving and not very pricy as well.

5.Do you eat at home or do you usually eat outside?

I guess I usually eat in the canteen of my school. Sometimes when I

cant stand the food there ,I would like to eat in a restaurant with my friends.

Museums and art galleries

1.Are there many museums in your hometown?

That’s for sure. though I live in a middle-sized city, there are a variety of museums in my hometown, such as the folk are museum, the marine museum and stuff like that.

2.Do you like visiting museums and art galleries?

No really ,visiting museums and art galleries is kind of boring. When

I am free, I prefer to do some outdoor activities such as playing

basketball. But when the tickets are free, I would choose to wander around these places to expand my knowledge.

3.Do you think museums are useful for visitors to your hometown?

Of course.

Museums are good places to preserve and present the objects of cultural significance. They stand for the culture of the city. Besides, visitors will understand the city better though visiting museums.

4.Do you think schools should take their students to visit museums

and art galleries?

Absolutely. It is of great significance for students to visit museums and art galleries. Visiting these places brings history ,science and arts alive for the kids. For example, when they visit a military museum, they are likely to learn knowledge about military science ，which they can not learn in their classroom.
