写草稿之前,首先要对原文适合哪种概要做出准确的判断,然后按照突出的重点和拟好的提纲来写,尽量一气呵成。否则,为个别的谴词造句踯躅,势必会打断思维、封闭思路,影响写作进度。概要不是提纲和内容的简单堆砌,写作时一定要用自己的语言,行文流畅、结构完整、文章逻辑衔接紧密。概要的结构比较简单,通常分为导言、主体和结尾三部分。导言一般只包括文章的主题句,即一句话概述文章的中心大意。需强调的是文章主题句不是概要的中心大意,而是原文的中心大意。主题句不能从原文中直接引用,须用概要写作者的话对原文概括得出。概要写作常用的动词有:(Theauthor)argues,notes,discusses,pointsout,emphasizes,explains,states,概要开篇还要注意信息型概要和描述型概要的区别。描述型概要的导言信息量大,除原文主旨外还包括文章作者、篇名、出处等方面的内容。出自报纸、书籍、期刊杂志上的文章一般都提供文章作者、篇名、出处及发表日期等信息,选用描述型概要比较合适。描述型概要的一些开篇方法如下:In0AnAnthropologistonMars,0Sacksnotesthat,AsLynnUtzman-Nicholsarguesinherarticle,0SurvivingtheTeenYears0,注意作者名字可用全名也可单用姓氏,不能单用名字;文章篇名用双引号;表示文章出处的书籍、期刊杂志的名称应用斜体或用下划线标识;原文有出版日期的,可以作如下处理:MargaretTalbot.sessay/TheGenderTrap0(WashingtonPostMagazine11/22/94)examines,AccordingtoaMarch14,1988newsarticleintheHoustonPost,0DeafPresidentNamed,0,概要主体部分是对文章各要点的阐述,一般包括一至两个段落。写作顺序通常与原文的顺序保持一致。但有时为使概要的条理更清楚,可以对原文顺序进行调整、重新安排。概要主体不是提纲要点的简单罗列,应根据层次结构,在各要点之间加一些体现逻辑关系的连接词,使概要衔接紧密、脉络清楚。为增加概要的生动性,可适当地选择原文中重要的例证。概要写作不能搀杂任何概要写作者的意见,不需要对原文进行总结、评价,所以一般没有结尾部分。若原文结尾有评论性、总结性内容,那概要的结尾部分同样要忠于原文,按照原文作者的思想进行总结。31检查写好草稿,就要认真地检查和润饰。检查要点如下:与原文对照,是否做到客观性,即没有搀杂个人的观点;对原文意义的传达是否准确、完整,文章中有没有忽略重要内容或增加多余内容的现象,读者不看原文能否了解原文的大概内容和原文作者的思想;是否有意义模糊、表达不清和重复罗嗦的地方;拼写、语法和标点符号的使用是否正确;概要语言是否优美,行文是否流畅;最后数数字数是否符合要求。41定稿
