Abstract This paper presents a detailed sum-up of various magnetic field measurement methods.
Magnetic field sensors are sorted into low, medium and high intensity types in terms of different measurement ranges. Both the principles and merits of all kinds of magnetic sensors are analyzed and compared in detail. On balance, the paper provides a beneficial and necessary guidance to select appropriate magnetic sensors in engineering application.
