It's located in the city center of Guangzhou and its not far away from Zhongshan 6 Road, near the People's Hospital. It's a good place to go to and climb to see the Flower Pagoda, which has eight sides to it. You can also go there to pray if you are a Buddhist. It is an active temple and is also the head of the Guangzhou Buddhist Association. You can also do a bit of shopping there if you like. Besides the souvenirs you can buy there, it also has a very lively fruit and meat market nearby, so if you just want to shop instead you can. The main feature of this place is the pagoda because it's the tallest in the city. From the outside it looks like it has only nine stories, but actually it has 17 inside. It's quite old, and was built some time in the 10th century. The temple itself is even older than that-I think it goes back to some time

多米诺骨牌效应:=Something you learned from math=Something you learned from your family=A piece of advice=A change you had=An important stage in your life=A text message you got=A letter you got=An E-mail you got=A way of communication=An important decision you made=A person who helped you=A kind thing someone did to you=A family member you love talking to=A good parent=An elderly family member=A neighbor=A good friend=A teacher=A science course you took=A subject you love/d at school=Your personality=First day of college=Your experience of getting money as a gift=Your experience of getting congratulations=A person you helped=A thing your friend did made you admire.

think it is during my high school that my parents bought a tablet to me as a birthday gift.It was really nice because they actually asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told them it was a tablet that I wanted. I asked for such a device because I was planning to use it for my school work.I remember our science teacher used to require us to fully prepare for his classes by searching for the definitions of some terminologies in advance,so with the assistance of this small device,it became much easier to surf on the internet for my homework.Meanwhile, compared to the use of my computer, that device obviously improved my study efficiency when I had to submit my finished work to teachers,as it ran faster than the computer. I have to say that it has been quite a helpful device to me because of two main reasons. One is that I used to take advantage of it to finish my school work with high efficiency during high school so that I could better

Describe an interesting foreigner you know You should say Who is this?person What does this person do How did you know this person Why do you think this person is interesting Approximately 30 years ago while traveling for business I met an elderly Japanese man I found fascinating. While traveling together I had the honor of hearing about his life. He spoke perfect English with a slight British Accent. He told me learning English was discouraged when he was growing up. However, the challenge of rebelling and learning English was too great. He learned English by listening to the BBC shortwave radio broadcasts and reading anything in English he could find. His language?ability?served him well in later years when he would serve as a?companion?translator to Japanese businessmen and English speaking businessmen in Japan and abroad. As the war in the Pacific dragged on, and it became apparent that Japan was losing, he was drafted into service by the Japanese military and trained to fly at a young age. He was pressed into service to be a Kamikaze. During his first battle he was shot down before he could crash his airplane into its target. He was rescued and imprisoned until the end of the war. The Japanese government thought he had died in battle. Therefore, he no longer officially existed. His family stayed together and alive due to being eligible for food rations. Since he did not officially exist, he could not receive any rations. His stories of subsisting during the post war occupation were sad and unsettling. I subsequently had several opportunities to spend time with him both in the US and Japan. During that time in my career I tried to learn enough Japanese to be a polite visitor. But I also tried to learn as many Japanese colloquialisms and swear words to unexpectedly spring on him for laughs. About 10 years after meeting him, I learned that he had passed away. A most interesting individual whom I admired and was saddened by his passing.

Describe a book you read、a gift you received from others、a wild animal、a handicraft、an electrical appliance that is useful to you、an important letter that you received、a game you played in your childhood等; 抽象类物品如:Describe an interesting news、a useful website、 a performance you saw、a organization、your future job、your future plan、something that you don't know but would like to learn等。 Describe a gift you sent to others 物品词汇: Arts and crafts工艺品;Charm护身符;Cross stitch 十字绣;Knitting 编织品;Shell craft 贝壳制品;Mug 杯子;Multi Purpose Tools 多功能工具 物品特点词汇:

Libraries living on in digital age 当然! https://www.360docs.net/doc/ae18861176.html, Inside the new Tianjin Binhai Public Library, which became an online hit due to its futuristic design. A new library in Tianjin – Tianjin Binhai Public Library – recently became an online hit. The Daily Mail described it as the “world?s ultimate library”, while the word “breathtaking” was the choice of Newsw eek magazine. One look at the library and you?ll see why. With its futuristic design and walls loaded with books, it?s the dream library of every book lover. But as the awe continues, there?s a burning question lying in the back of our minds: When physical bookstores are closing down one by one, what makes libraries immune from the wave of digitalization? And do we really still need libraries now we?ve got the internet in our hands? Reporter Ian Clark has the answer. “Libraries are not declining in importan ce – people are simply changing the way they use them,” he wrote on the Guardian website. What Clark means is that libraries have shifted from simply being storehouses of books to a medium to help “bridge the gap between the haves and the have-nots”, accor ding to website Libraries Are Essential. Since not everyone can afford a smartphone, a tablet or an internet connection, and not everyone has the know-how to search the internet correctly and efficiently, it?s public libraries that make sure that these res ources and technologies are available to a larger group of people. And one of the pitfalls that come with online materials is that they?re not always reliable. “Google doesn?t tell you what you?re not getting, so people need to evaluate the quality and co mpleteness of what they see on their screens,” Sarah Pritchard, dean of libraries at Northwestern University, told Northwestern Research Magazine. And libraries are usually where that “evaluation” happens. But all of these practical functions aside, we st ill need the physical space that a library provides. It?s something

Sydney is my most favorite city among the cities I have visited. Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales of Australia. This city is situated in the bank of Tasman Sea and has around 4.6 million people. I have visited this city in 2008, after I finished my graduation and loved my stay there. Sydney had many attractive natural area, botanic garden, parks, and high rising buildings. This city has many heritage listed building that attracts the tourists and visitors. The Sydney Opera House is one of the most recognized landmarks in Australia and is a great place to visit. This city is known for the dynamic cultural hub and it has many famous museum, galleries and art galleries as well. Because of the great architecture, warm weather and hundreds of tourists attraction more than 11 million international and domestic tourists visit this city each year. I had been there for about 15 days and I really enjoyed everything about this city. I stayed at a 20 storied hotel that offered a really amusing sight views. The transportation system of the city is better than many other cities and I could have been maintaining the track and time of my schedules because of that. I loved being at open & wide spaces in the gardens and parks. People are welcoming and friendly there. A tourist can get plenty of helps both from people and the authority and can roam easily without any interruption. I saw 2/3 art museum and some cultural festivals and those were awesome.

You know, my life at school seems so long ago. I can remember an occasion when I won first prize in a singing contest, and I think that had to have been my best day at school. The competition was held outside the school, and we had a stage set up for each of us to sing. The sound quality was not very good since it was an outdoor competition, but I suppose that might have acted in my favour, since I really don't think I am that good of a singer. But anyway, I can remember feeling on stage as nervous as anything, and just closing my eyes and letting myself sort of float in my imagination. I imagined this was my profession, and I thought of myself as a famous person-but I can't remember who it was, it was so long ago. Anyways, after the song was finished I remember people were giving me quite a good applause. When my name was announced as the winner I felt like flying again. You know,' it was something that meant so much to me just to be on stage, but to actually also land first prize was something else. Now that I
