Sentence structure note:

Note:?Advancement is like getting a raise or a better title. But college education enables one to do more than that; it is about becoming a complete person.

Collocation note:

有的学生用learn knowledge来表示“学习知识”,但是这个搭配在英语中是错误的,正确的表达应该是acquire knowledge。其他可以和knowledge搭配的动词还有gain, absorb, build up, accumulate, use, apply, possess, develop等。
