The Pentagon built the network for military contractors and universities doing military research to __72__ information。(2009年6月)

72. A. exchange B. bypass C. switch D. interact

For example, most universities that __76__ the NSF network had intracampus computer networks. (2009年6月)

76. A. joined B. attached C. participated D. involved

四个选项的意思都与“联系”有关,各自意思的侧重点和用法分别是:

A. joined: 加入; join sth./sb.:加入到某事物或某人中;

B. attached: 将某物系于另一物上;attach A to B:将A系于B上;

C. participated: 参加;participate in sth.:参加某事物;

D. involved:牵涉;A be involved in B:A牵涉进了B中。

句子的意思是:例如,加入到NSF网络中的大部分大学有校际电脑网络。因此,A. joined是最佳选项。:从上面这道题我们可以得知,只是记住单词的意思还不够,对于意思相近的单词一定要将它们整理出来,辨析它们的意思的侧重点和用法的不同。如果同学们对单词的意义已经很了解了,在接下来的两周应该做到以上这点。

形近词辨析:大部分考察的是同根或同缀,但意义却相差较大的单词,例如:

Eisenhower’s interstate highways __64__ the nation together in new ways and __65__ major economic growth by making commerce less __66__。(2009年6月)

66. https://www.360docs.net/doc/f18065370.html,petitive https://www.360docs.net/doc/f18065370.html,parative C.exclusive D.expensive

所以答案选D.expensive。

这道题给我们的信息是在复习单词时,对于形近的词要特别区分,以免混淆,而把本应做对的题做错。

因此,在最后两星期同学们应把复习单词的重点放在以上三方面,这样不仅可以更有效地记忆单词,也能对更好地做题有很大的帮助。

另外,历年的完形真题也是我们要着重复习的地方,因为通过对以往考过的六级完形真题的分析,发现有很多地方都是考了又考的,例如:

So Germany was asking bright young__79__to leave their country, culture and families…(2008年6月)

79. A.dwellers B.citizens C.professionals D.amateurs

答案:C。

It began as a military communication system, into a government-funded __80__ research network. (2009年6月) 80. A.citizen B.civilian C.amateur D.resident

句际之间的逻辑关系完形填空中,句际之间的逻辑关系主要包括:并列关系(连接词有and, while等);转折关系(连接词有but, however, though, whereas, nevertheless等);因果关系(连接词有so,therefore, thus, because, for, since, as等);让步关系(连接词有though, although, despite, in spite of等);条件关系(连接词有if, unless, once, provided that, in case (of)等);解释关系(连接词有i.e., that is to say, in other words等);顺序关系(连接词有before, after, and, first, second, then, next, finally等)

1:四级120-150字;六级150-180字;

2是否长短句交叉;

3用词是否恰当,准确,形象,尽量使用能够吸引阅卷老师眼球的闪光词;

4关键词是否换用,切勿老用重复词;

下面给出写好一篇作文的注意事项:

1.适当用被动代替主动,这样能更客观的反映事实, 句子开头不要总是用we / I (比如写结尾时不用we should pay attention to而用Attention should be paid to. )举个经典结尾2004年六月六级作文的最后一段:It is ,therefore, high time that some applicable approaches were implemented by the service industry like that. Thus,its competitive edge will be sharpened effectively.

2.善于使用插入语,比如说把副词、连接词等,作插入语放在中间,一般放在主语、动词或者助动词后,两边分别加上逗号。

如however / therefore /for example/I believe 做插入语放在中间,一般放在动词,助动词后,两边分别加上逗号。

比如说:Other individuals, however, take the attitude that …

3. 一定要学会换词,换形象,具体的代替太宽泛的。(考试中一般不要出现good, bad , many, thing, think, people, opinion 等等)比如上面例子中,applicable代替proper, approaches代替ways, implement代替carry out, sharpen one’’s competitive edge代替enhance one’’s competitiveness(提高某物竞争力)

下面举一篇我南京六级班上一位同学写的优秀作文(14分)的例子,看看他是如何运用各类写作技巧的。这位同学把老师上课讲的各类写作手法和精彩替换和句型都用上了,作文有了很大的提高。

20186月大学英语六级考试真题及答案及解析

2017年6月大学英语六级考试真题及答案解析(第一套) Part I Writing (30 minutes) Directions: Suppose you are asked to give advice on whether to attend a vocational college or a university, write an essay to state your opinion. You are required to write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words. 【参考范文】 Whether to Attend a Vocational College or a University? It’s an undisputable truth that virtually all high school graduates will encounter the choices between a vocational college and a university. And when it comes to this question, students’ ideas are not cut from the same cloth. In point of which to choose and what to be taken into consideration, my advices are as follow. In the first place, we should be conscious of the fact that both of the two choices have its own superiorities. For instance, a vocational college specializes in cultivating human resources with practical capabilities; while a university serves as the cradle of academic researchers in different fields. Then it does follow that high school graduates should have a clear picture of themselves. That is to say, they should know their merits and demerits and their choices must give play to their strengths whilst circumvent weaknesses. In addition, interest is the best teacher and it’s also the premise of learning on one’s own initiative. Thus interest must be taken into account because it can not only decide how far one can reach academically and professionally but also how happy and fulfilled one will be. In brief, all above just goes to show that there really is no one-size-fits-all answer for the question. The key lies in a clear cognition, accurate self-positioning and the interest of oneself. Only then can every one find a right path that works best for us. Part II Listening Comprehension (30 minutes) Section A Directions: In this section, you will hear two long conversations. For each of them there are four choices marked A), B), C) and D). You should decide on the best choice and mark the corresponding letter on the Answer Sheet with a single line through the centre. Passage One Questions 21 to 25 are based on the following passage. In 1985 when a Japan Air Lines (JAL) jet crashed, its president, Yasumoto Takagi, called each victim’s family to apologize, and then promptly resigned. And in 1987, when a subsidiary of Toshiba sole sensitive military technology to the former Soviet Union, the chairman of Toshiba gave up his post. These executive actions, which Toshiba calls “the highest form of apology,”may seem bizarre to US managers. No one at Boeing resigned after the JAL crash, which may have been caused by a faulty Boeing repair. The difference between the two business cultures centers around different definitions of delegation. While US executives give both responsibility and authority to their employees, Japanese executives delegate only authority—the responsibility is still theirs. Although the subsidiary that sold the sensitive technology to the Soviets had its own management, the Toshiba top executives said they “must take personal responsibility for not creating an atmosphere throughout the Toshiba group that would make such activity unthinkable, even in an independently run subsidiary.” Such acceptance of community responsibility is not unique to businesses in Japan. School principals in Japan have resigned when their students committed major crimes after school hours. Even if they do not quit, Japanese executives will often accept primary responsibility in other ways, such as taking the first pay cut when a company gets into financial trouble. Such personal sacrifices, even if they are largely symbolic, help to create the sense of community and employee loyalty that is crucial to the Japanese way of doing business. Harvard Business School professor George Lodge calls the ritual acceptance of blame “almost a feudal (封建的) way of purging (清除) the community of dishonor,”and to some in the United States, such resignations look cowardly. However, in an era in which both business and governmental leaders seem particularly good at evading responsibility, many US managers would probably welcome an infusion (灌输) of the Japanese sense of responsibility, If, for instance,

(一) For many people today, reading is no longer relaxation. To keep up their work they must read letters, reports, trade publications, interoffice communications, not to mention newspapers and magazines: a never-ending flood of words. In 1 a job or advancing in one, the ability to read and comprehend 2 can mean the difference between success and failure. Yet the unfortunate fact is that most of us are 3 readers. Most of us develop poor reading 4 at an early age, and never get over them. The main deficiency 5 in the actual stuff of language itself-words. Taken individually, words have 6 meaning until they are strung together into phrased, sentences and paragraphs. 7 , however, the untrained reader does not read groups of words. He laboriously reads one word at a time, often regressing to 8 words or passages. Regression, the tendency to look back over 9 you have just read, is a common bad habit in reading. Another habit which 10 down the speed of reading is vocalization—sounding each word either orally or mentally as 11 reads. To overcome these bad habits, some reading clinics use a device called an 12 , which moves a bar (or curtain) down the page at a predetermined speed. The bar is set at a slightly faster rate 13 the reader finds comfortable, in order to “stretch” him.The accelerator forces the reader to read fast, 14 word-by-word reading, regression and subvocalization, practically impossible.
