From the top, we had an epic view of the entire island of Maui down below. The crater almost looked like it could be on the moon it was so craterish and rocky. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Then, we saw some dolphins swimming and jumping right next to the boat!I had never seen real dolphins before except at aquariums. Seeing them freely jumping out of the ocean waves was incredible.Those two weeks in Hawaii went by way too fast. I was so sad to leave behind the amazing beaches, snorkeling spots, and volcanoes. I had the time of my life! As soon as we got home, I started begging my parents to take us back to Hawaii again next summer. Maybe we could even visit some of the other Hawaiian islands too. I already can't wait for my next awesomesauce summer vacation!篇6My Summer Vacation AdventuresYay, summer vacation was finally here! No more waking up super early or staying late after school. I was really excited because my family was going on an awesome trip to California. We were going to go to Disneyland, see some pretty beaches, and even go camping. I couldn't wait!The first stop on our trip was Disneyland. Oh my gosh, it was the most amazing place ever! We went on sooooo many rides like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and the Haunted Mansion. My favorite ride was probably Indiana Jones, it was a runaway mine cart that went really fast and jerked you all around.I screamed so loud! We also got to meet lots of Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, and Goofy. They gave us big hugs and we took lots of pictures with them. I'll never forget the time I spent at the happiest place on Earth.After a few days at Disneyland, we drove over to the beach. The beaches in California are gorgeous, with long stretches of soft golden sand and beautiful blue-green ocean water. We stayed right near Santa Monica beach and I loved playing in the waves and making sand castles. One day we even saw a family ofdolphins swimming really close to the shore! My mom took a million pictures of them jumping out of the water. We rented beach cruiser bikes one day too and rode along the path next to the beach. That was really fun but I got super sore from pedaling!The last part of our trip was going camping in Yosemite National Park. I was a little nervous about camping because I hadn't done it before, but it turned out to be awesome! We hiked up to this pretty waterfall and swam in the pool at the bottom. The water was icy cold but felt amazing on such a hot day. At night, we made s'mores around the campfire and watched the stars come out. I saw a couple of shooting stars too which was really cool. We saw lots of wildlife like deer, squirrels, and even a bear from pretty far away. Yosemite was breathtaking with the huge granite cliffs, tall trees, and all the nature surrounding us.I had such an incredible summer this year. We did so many fun activities and made memories that will last forever. Even though it's sad that vacation is over, I'm excited to go back to school and see all my friends again. I can't wait to tell them all about my amazing summer adventures when we have to write about what we did over the break. This was easily one of the best summers ever!。
