Unit 4 Will you come to my birthday party ?Revision一、教学内容与分析Fun story本课以趣味故事的形式集中复现本单元所涉及的有关生日聚会的语言知识，使学生能够将所学语言运用到实际生活中去，复习日期和生日聚会的表达方式，提高交际能力。
故事内容：Micky 要过生日了，他想找一个跟它同一天生日的伙伴，最后找到了大象，他们高兴地邀请小动物们一起搞了个生日聚会。
二、课前准备1．准备本课的教学挂图（裁成小图）、幻灯片、录音磁带。
2．准备日历和动物头饰。
三、教学建议1．教师依次展示教学挂图，慢慢地把裁开的各幅小图依次贴在黑板上。
教师要一边贴，一边提问，注意问题说得要清楚，可以多重复几遍。
展示第1个挂图，提问：What is Micky thinking about?展示第2个挂图，提问：Micky is not happy．What are Micky and Mimi talking about? 展示第3个挂图，提问：Micky is sad．Why?展示第4个挂图，提问：Micky is happy．He is laughing．Why?展示第5个挂图，提问：Why does the elephant have flowers in his hands? What are they going to do?展示第6个挂图，提问：Ha ha! They are having a birthday party! Whose birthday is it? 2．学生短暂思考后，教师播放录音：Let's listen to the tape and find the answers．3．让学生自由回答上面的问题，根据学生回答问题的情况决定播放录音的次数，必要的地方教师可以用汉语适当解释。
4．学生理解故事内容后，再放一遍录音让他们跟读。
5．把学生分为5人一组，分角色练习会话，然后学生带上小动物的头饰到前面表演。

能力目标培养学生的阅读理解能力以及良好的听力习惯。

学生反复朗读并熟悉广告内容，教师讲解帮助学生理解。
教学难点掌握句子的重读技巧。
教师讲解重读技巧并教读，学生模仿，然后跟着录音反复朗读。

Step 1：Warmup1．教师出示单词卡，如cook、study、do、go、work、live、play等。
学生抢答说出它们的第三人称单数形式，回答正确得一分。
2．教师用多媒体展示上一课时所学动词词组，如cooks Chinese food、studies Chinese、does word puzzles、goes hiking。
学生根据图片上的内容进行问答练习。
教师可先与一名学生做示范，如：T：Does he cook Chinese food?S：Yes，he does.T：Does she do word puzzles?S：o，she doesn't....通过抢答的形式对动词的第三人称单数形式进行复习，同时也提高了学生学习的热情；通过问答练习对本单元所学的重要词汇和句型进行了巩固。
