She is good at playing folk songs. Meanwhile, she combines Chinese traditional music with western music. Liu Fang had a great gift for music as a child, therefore her mother sent her to play pipa. She has given concerts since 11. While playing pipa, the biggest challenge is to respect traditions and add her own style. The same is true of guzheng. Now, Liu Fang lives in Canada, where she often makes contacts with master musicians, sharing feelings and ideas with them.
