湘潭大学是我最向往的大学之一

Xiangtan university is one of my most desirable universities

但在考研之前，我决定报考的学校不是湘潭大学

But before the postgraduate entrance examination, the school that I decided to apply for was not Xiangtan university

然而由于成绩不够优秀，我没有被第一志愿学校录取

However, due to lack of good grades, I was not admitted to the first volunteer school

幸运的是，湘潭大学为我提供了继续学习的机会，把我录取为硕士研究生

Fortunately, Xiangtan university provided me with the opportunity to continue my study and accepted me as a postgraduate student

To be exact,Xiangtan university offer me what I need.It provides us with a good study and living environment.

我们的校园环境很优美，这里自然景观秀丽，人文气息浓郁。

Our campus environment is very beautiful, the natural scenery is beautiful, the humanistic atmosphere is rich.

潭大学有很多场馆，例如宏伟的图书馆，设施齐全的体育馆，多功能实验室，巨大的报告厅等

这些场馆为我们的学习和娱乐活动提供场所

These venues provide places for our study and recreation activities

虽然我们宿舍里的设施不是特别好，但是居住环境还是很令人满意的Although the facilities in our dormitory are not very good, the living environment is very satisfactory.Our dormitory is a standard room that can accommodate four people.

我的宿舍是一个团结的小集体，我的三个室友都特别友好，真诚。我们喜欢在一起交流问题，相互学习。我们宿舍旁边有几个热情的邻居，他们和我们公用一个阳台，但相处得很和睦。

My dormitory is a small group of unity. My three roommates are all very friendly and sincere.We like to communicate and learn from each other.We have a few warm neighbors who share a balcony with us, but we get along well.

目前我们的课程有些多，而且这些课程中大部分都比较难，所有我们需要花费更长的时间来学习我们的课程。这些课程都与我们的专业有关系。老师们都具有丰富的教学经验，他们有责任感，讲课很细致很认真。

Now we have a lot of courses, and most of them are difficult, and it takes us longer to learn our lessons.These courses are all related to our major.The teachers are rich in teaching experience and have a sense of responsibility. The lectures are meticulous and careful.

校园里离我们宿舍最近的餐厅是琴湖食堂，我经常在那里吃饭。食堂里的菜以湘菜为主，口味偏辣，非常美味。除了餐厅，校园周边也有一些其他的餐馆，这些餐馆往往会提供一些特色饭菜来满足我们的要求。在校园的超市里，我们可以买到很多必备的生活用品，同样也可以买到水果和零食。

The nearest restaurant on campus is the qinhu canteen（琴湖食府）. I often eat there.The food in the canteen is mainly hunan cuisine（湘菜）, which is spicy and delicious.In addition to the restaurant, there are other restaurants around campus, which tend to offer special meals to meet our demands.In the supermarket of campus, we can buy many necessities of life, and also can buy fruits and snacks.

我很喜欢我们的校园，所以我总是在校园里学习和生活。有时候我也会把时间花费在校园外面，比如逛街或旅游。

I like our campus very much, so I always study and live on campus.Sometimes I spend my time outside campus, such as shopping or traveling.
