SUPREP Bowel Prep Kit cleans your colon by causing you to have diarrhea. Cleaning your colon helps your healthcare provider see the inside of your colon more clearly during your colonoscopy.It is not known if SUPREP Bowel Prep Kit is safe and effective in children.Who should not take SUPREP Bowel Prep Kit?Do not take SUPREP Bowel Prep Kit if your heathcare provider has told you that you have:• a blockage in your bowel (obstruction)• an opening in the wall of your stomach or intestine (bowel perforation)• problems with food and fluid emptying from your stomach (gastric retention)• a very dilated intestine (bowel)• an allergy to any of the ingredients in SUPREP Bowel Prep Kit. 2.聚乙二醇电解质散剂的生物原理在于，聚乙二醇4000可以和水分子形成相对稳定的氢键，在进入人体肠道后，会使肠道内容物的水分不受结肠吸收的影响，因此起到润滑肠道、软化粪便的作用。
大剂量服用还会使肠道内容物的体积增加，帮助结肠恢复正常生理运动的能力。
通常服用量在3L左右，大量的液体还会起到冲刷、灌洗肠道的作用。
而聚乙二醇电解质散剂优于其他肠道清洁剂的特征是，它可以做到于人体胃肠道黏膜之间水、电解质的净交换基本为零，在进行肠道清洁的同时不会使服用者有脱水症状。
二、复方聚乙二醇电解质散的使用过程1.患者在确诊过程中需要进行结肠镜、小肠镜（指经肛小肠镜，不包括经口小肠镜）、胶囊内镜及超声内镜下检查或治疗时，医生都会要求进行肠道清洁准备工作。
当确定准确检查时间后，需要领取肠道清洁剂。

备时服药一般分两次，每次服药 45ml。 第一次服药时间在操作或检查前 一天晚上7点，采用稀释方案，用 750ml以上温凉开水稀释后服用。 第二次服药时间在操作或检查当 天早晨7点（或在操作或检查前至 少3个小时），或遵医嘱，用法同 第一次。 为获得良好肠道准备效果，建议 患者在可承受范围内多饮用水。
