The countryside there was unbelievably beautiful - rolling green hills, puffy white sheep grazing in the meadows, and crumbling old castles on the cliffs. We visited Loch Ness and went on a boat tour looking for the famous Loch Ness Monster. Unfortunately, we didn't see any monsters, just lots of stunning scenery.My favorite stop was the town of Pitlochry in the Scottish Highlands.
