三、知识链接英国的交通跟中国有很大不同，应注意些什么英国交通规则与中国不尽相同，但只要遵守通规则，就会避免或降低发生意外事故的可能。
如一定要在各种人行横道处过马路，不要任意横穿马路；英实行“左线行驶”，过马路时，一定要先向右边看；按秩序上车，不要抢上公共交通车辆、地铁或出租车；乘车他人车辆，特别是在第一排，一定要系好安全带。
英交通事故的责任认定比较复杂，但一般事发时遵守了交通规则，就会得到相对比较有利的结果。
交通事故发生后，不要慌乱，尽快报警，并尽可能留下现场目击证人个人资料，以便向警方提供，为您作证。
同时，主动与中国驻英使、领馆联系，中国使、领馆按规定向您提供协助或服务，如敦促警方等主管机关尽快破案、公正执法和高效办案，或向您推荐律师，由律师帮您或代理您进行刑事诉讼或提出民事索赔等。
