2) 在can’t help but, have nothing to do but结构中, 介词but后的不定式省去to。 如: I can’t help (but) suspect his motive.
不定式有时要用主动形式表示被动意义 1. 不定式的逻辑主语和逻辑宾语都出现 在不定式前面,只能用主动形式;若 在句中找不到不定式的逻辑主语,则 用不定的被动形式。如: Do you have anything to wash today? (to wash的主语为句子的主语you,其 逻辑宾语为anything) 你今天要洗什么吗?
4. 在一些固定用法,如“挨骂,受责备, 受批评” 用be to blame;“(东西等) 出租”用to let。如: He is to blame for what he has done. 他应为他所做的受责备。 The house is to let. 房子要出租。
解读动词不定式
1. 误:We don’t allow to smoke in the lecture hall. 正:We don’t allow smoking in the lecture hall. 正:We don’t allow people to smoke in the lecture hall. 解析:在allow后跟动名词作宾语;当 allow后有宾语时,则用不定式作补语, 即allow sb to do sth。

The Passive V oice(被动语态)讲义一、定义在英语中,语态是动词的一种形式,表示主语和谓语的关系。
英语动词有两种语态,即主动语态和被动语态。
主动语态(active voice) 表示主语是动作的发出者;被动语态(passive voice)表示主语是动作的承受者(对象)。
如:(主语) (谓语) (宾语)I bought a book. (主动语态)(发出者) (动作) (承受着)(主语) (谓语) (介词宾语))A book was bought by me. (被动语态)(承受者) (动作) (发出者)二、将下面的主动语态的句子转换成被动语态1. All of us like her.2. We discussed the question.3. Translation version
Sometimes, English passive voice is translated into Chinese as active sentence through change of objective verb in the original text. No matter how the forms change, the meaning in the original text doesn't change .
Because of the habit of Chinese expressions, English passive sentences can be mostly translated into Chinese as active sentences.
Example: The organism must be grown on artificial food in the laboratory.
Example:
The plan was especially supported by those who wished to have more chance to speak English.

Inverted translation refers to that original English subject is translated into Chinese object and original propositional object is translated into Chinese subject such as "agent+verb+patient" or "agent+把+patient+verb+complement". Sometimes, Eቤተ መጻሕፍቲ ባይዱglish passive sentences are not necessarily to express the issuer of action and that is always translated into Chinese without the subject.

在主动语态中,如果句子结构含有宾语补足语成分,如 ⚫ see/hear/watch sb.+动词的分词形式 ⚫ make sb. +动词/名词/形容词 ⚫ keep/find sb. +动词的分词形式/形容词 在其变为被动语态时原宾语补足语位置不变,而在语法 上则成为主语补足语。
例如: I saw her reading a book.
This new word can be looked up in the dictionary. 这个新单词可以在词典里查找。 (被动语态)
5. 几种常用被动语态的变化
④ 带有形式宾语it的句子也可以有被动结构 例如:
We consider it wiser to hand in the report. 我们认为把报告交上去是很明智的。(主动语态) It is considered wiser to hand in the report. 递交报告是很明智的。 (被动语态)
例如: The nurse looks after the old man well. 护士把那位老人照顾得很好。 (主动语态)
The old man is well looked after by the nurse. 那位老人被护士照顾得很好。 (被动语态)
例如: You can look up the new word in the dictionary. 你可以在词典里查找这个新单词。 (主动语态)

被动语态 英语有两种语态

被动语态英语有两种语态:主动语态和被动语态主动语态(The Active V oice)表示主语是动作的执行者。
被动语态(The Passive V oice)表示主语是动作的承受者。
构成:承受者+助动词be+及物动词的过去分词+by+执行者一般现在时:承受者+助动词am / is/are +及物动词的过去分词+by+执行者一般过去时:承受者+助动词was / were +及物动词的过去分词+by+执行者承受者+助动词shall / will be+及物动词的过去分词+by+执行者承受者+助动词have/ has been+及物动词的过去分词+by+执行者承受者+ can /may/must/should +be+及物动词的过去分词+by+执行者被动语态用法:1)当我们不知道动作的执行者是谁,或者没有必要指出动作的执行者时,需用被动语态。
2)当我们需要强调动作的承受者时,常用被动语态。
3)如果需要说出动作的执行者, 用by引导出动作的执行者。
主动语态变为被动语态时,其谓语动词的时态要与原句时态保持一致,其谓语动词的数要与新主语保持一致。
主动语态变为被动语态时有以下几种情况:1)主语+谓语动词+宾语将主动语态的宾语变为被动语态的主语。
(主动)We bought a book yesterday. (被动)The book was bought yesterday. 2)主语+谓语动词+间接宾语+直接宾语将主动语态中一个宾语变为被动语态的主语。
多数情况下将间接宾语变为主语。
如果直接宾语变为主语时,间接宾语前要加介词to / for。
(主动)He showed me a book yesterday. (被动)I was showed a book yesterday. (被动)The book was showed to me yesterday. 3)主语+谓语动词+复合宾语含有一个由宾语加宾语补足语构成的复合宾语,变为被动语态时,将主动语态的宾语变为被动语态的主语,宾语补足语保留不变,成为主语补足语。

(复合谓语) She was the first woman to have been elected to such a post. (定语)
3. 在“too…to do; enough…to…”结构中。如: The problem is too difficult to work out/ (to be worked out). The house is big enough to live in.
4. 在“with+n+to do”结构中。例如: With nothing to do, he lay in bed. With so many exercises to do, I can't go to the cinema.
