语音部分复习wh,wr,igh,eigh 等字母组合的读音规则。
2. Who is that man? He looks like your grandfather.(那个男人是谁?他看起来像你的爷爷。
)(1)grandpa(爷爷,外公)是口语,grandf a ther 是正式用语。
(2)like是多义词,既可以是动词,也可以是介词。
我们在本套教材三年级下册学过作动词的like,意思是“喜欢”。
如:I like my new bike.(我喜欢我的新自行车。
)而本课中look like是固定词组,意思是“看起来像……”,这里的like是介词。
如:He looks like his father.(他看起来像他的父亲。
)The clouds in the sky look like sheep.(天空中的云朵看起来像绵羊。
)3. What does your grandma do?(你的奶奶是做什么工作的?)(1)grandma(奶奶,外婆)是口语,grandmother 是正式用语。
(2)这是询问职业的一种句型,可以结合第37页的句型练习进行教学。
4. She is a cook.She cooks for farm workers.(她是个厨师,她为农场的工人做饭。
)cook可以是名词,意思是“厨师”;cook也可以作动词,意思是“烹调,煮饭”。
5. Do they have a farm in the UK?(他们在英国有农场吗?)the UK 是the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland(大不列颠及北爱尔兰联合王国)的简称。
