My Ideal Job
Everyone has his or her ideal job, me too. My ideal job is work as a teacher. When I was a child, some one told me that teacher is the engineer of the human’s soul, after heard about it; I become interested in this job. Now, my major in university is English, it is compatible with my ideal job. So, realistically, I want to be a middle school English teacher, I really also want to work as a college teacher, but nowadays, if you want work in a college, it require at least a master degree, so, I can just apply an middle school teacher.
The biggest challenges to reaching my ideal job is my character, I am a girl who don’t like to talk too much, but a good teacher need the characteristic of talkative and outgoing, after all, teaching is an art of language. Fortunately, I am good at drawing, this can also catch students’ attention, the most important thing I needed to do is to practice my speaking skill and hold on my drawing skill.
A typical work day in my ideal job will look like follows, in the morning, I went to working with a happy mood, and all of my colleague smile to me and students extend greetings to me, then, I arrive my office, get my task from Dean, next, I will teach my first class, during the class, I will use the knowledge I learnt in university to teach my students, in the afternoon, after having lunch in school’s cafeteria, I will prepare my next course under the guide of experienced colleague, finally, it is time to
get off work, and I will backing to my own home, and having a happy meal with my families.
In my opinion, a successful first year as a teacher should at least develop a good relationship with your colleague and your students, and need to know of how to teach students efficiently.
Many people always fail at job while others are successful because it’s attitude, in my opinion, one’s attitude decide your achievement, people who have low attitude with his job always move from job to job, so they always fail. However, people who have high attitude with his work always working very hard, and these people always become successful.
My strengths an weaknesses:
I think after 5 years, and I may get at least 2 years of experience in teaching, and at this time, I will become a good teacher in my working place, and have a good relationship among my colleagues and students, what’s more, I will also have develop a special and effective method of teaching.
After 10 years, I may get 7 years of experience in teaching, and at this time, I must became an experienced teacher and have gained more respect from my students.
If it possible, I want to be the Dean of my office, and use my special and effective method of teaching to lead my own teaching team.。
