本单元围绕“天气”这一题材开展，使学生掌握天气状况并进行询问、预报讨论和确定相应着装。
本课时是在学习上一单元服装类单词的基础上和A部分“Let’s learn”中学习掌握了四个相关气温的形容词的基础上，运用它们讨论相应的着装。
“什么样的天气穿什么样的衣服”与人们的日常生活密切相关，因此我注意鼓励学生掌握各种天气情况下人们从事的活动形式。
通过用中学、学中用、反复实践、学用结合的方式，在巩固和丰富“表述天气”这一项目的同时，也促进了学生语言技能的发展，为后阶段“问天气”的英语学习打下了扎实的基础，提供充分的知识准备。
教学目标新英语课程标准指出，基础教学阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
而综合语言运用能力又以学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等方面的综合素养为基础。
基于以上认识，对教学内容的分析及本教材的特点，我将教学目标确定为：知识目标：听、说、认读Let’s talk中的句子，理解对话内容，并能熟练运用句子Can I wear my …? Y es, you can./No, you can’t.来问答自己能穿什么衣服。
能力目标1、能听懂、会说Can I wear my …? Y es, you can./No, you can’t.并能在适当情景中运用。
2、能听懂指示语，并按要求做出相应的动作，如：I t’s warm today.Take off your jacket.情感目标了解衣服的穿着与天气情况的关系，懂得什么样的天气应该穿什么衣服，知道怎样用恰当的方式来征求别人的意见。

【教学难点】朗读、理解对话；【教学方法】本课内容有些枯燥，开始教师可以利用一些时间让学生说唱儿歌，表演上节课let's talk中的对话来复习以前所学知识，同时调动学生学习热情，然后再进入新课的学习。
首先，教师可以利用或简笔画引出football—let's play football.并让学生进行操练。
然后充分利用课件让学生观看read and write中的内容，从而初步理解对话的整体意思。
三个句子：come on. it's time to go. they are on your feet!的意思教师可以让学生在故事情境中去理解，不必做太多的讲解。
在学生读懂对话后，引导学生看图说出本课的重点词汇：jeans，pants，socks，shoes。
学生在第三册已经学过字母的正确书写，所以单词的书写对学生来讲不难，应把单词的拼写作为重点。
教师可以适当的讲一些字母或字母组合的发音规律，如：jeans中ea发[i:], ck发[k]......帮助学生记忆单词，然后再开展一些课堂活动，来巩固单词的拼写。

（2）让学生将学过的服装类名词归类：Clothes for warm days / Clothes for cold days，为对话教学进行铺垫。
3．新课呈现（Presentation）Let's talk（1）教师首先和学生进行自由交谈，然后呈现教学挂图中的对话图说：Mike has a new shirt．He likes it very much．Can he wear it? 鼓励学生用简单的句子给出回答，并由此导入新课。

本课主要教学“sunny cloudy windy rainy snowy”五个天气词汇,这些内容与生活息息相关,但它们是形容词,不能用实物来表现,若按照传统教学法,教师要准备很多图片,且效果也不一定好.在设计本课时,我针对学生爱表演爱故事的天性,以寒号鸟的故事为依托,将词汇教学融于故事教学之中.在媒体使用上,将传统教学法与现代多媒体技术结合起来,帮助学生理解运用天气词汇,使课堂更加丰富、生动、有效.
在小学英语教学中,我们往往看到一些课非常热闹,活动很多,可为快节奏、高密度.但是当我们把这类课搬到自己的课堂中,却会发现我们的课堂教学会变得看似效率很高（因为课堂活动多,学生积极参与,满教室跑）,但是课后没有效果（知识目标没有得到落实,语言能力仍旧没有提高）.
原因很多,一是由于我们的学生基础没有那么好.这种快节奏和高密度的全英语课堂会使学生不能很好地理解老师他们的学习要求.听不懂课堂指令会使一些基础差的同学的心里产生焦虑、紧张和害怕的情绪.这样的课只使部分优等生有了更大的发展空间,却阻碍了普通生和后进生的发展.
二是由于追求某些时尚的理念,这种课堂的花花架子太多（有些活动不从教学目标出发的,而是一种所谓新理念的标签,华而不实）.
这种活动中,学生开心了,积极性也提高了,但是学生关注的往往只是活动本我想,我们宁可要一些效率不高,但效果很好的课,而不要效率很高（教师学生在课堂中满场飞,热热闹闹）,但效果没有的课.当然我们当然最好能够做到效率很高,效果也很好.我们在英语课堂教学中,要有强烈的目的性,遵守目标原则.每一堂课的教学目标要定得准.这个很重要,这就好像画一个三角一样,那个圆规在起始时的偏差是看不大清楚的,但是一但定位不准,这个偏差的圆弧到后来会越来越大.。

（一）热身、复习（Warm-up/Revision）
学生跟录音唱歌曲“Thunder”。
教师提问：What’s the weather like in Beijing （Harbin/ Hong Kong/ Lhasa）?
学生回答：It’s warm（cold / hot / cool）.
（二）呈现新课（Presentation）
1、播放Let’s do部分的动画，学生观看完一遍后，教师将图中五个画面同时展现在屏幕上，教师播放录音，请学生选出相应的画面。
学生指出图后，教师适时出示单词卡：rainy、windy、sunny、snowy、cloudy，学生认读。
2、教师出示世界地图：
This is Beijing，the capital of China.
This is Moscow, the capital of Russia.
This is London, the capital of Britain.
Here is Sydney, a city in Australia.
Here is Singapore, the city is a small country.
教师指图领读城市的名称：Moscow、London、Sydney 、Singapore。
3、请学生打开书，教师说城市名称的单词，学生在地图上指出城市的位置。
一个学生说城市名称的单词，其他学生在地图上指出城市的位置。
同桌两个同学一组，一人说单词，一人在图中指位置。
4、教师播放Let’s learn的课件，学生观看。
教师提问：Is it rainy in London？
学生回答：Yes，it is rainy in London.
学生跟录音读课文。
5、教师提问，学生看插图回答：
教师问：Is it cloudy in Sydney？
学生答：Yes, it is.
教师问：Is it windy in Beijing?

将全班分为若干小组，每次比赛各组出一名代表。
教师说城市（In …）,学生说出相应的天气形容词（It’s …）。
哪个学生先说出来可为本组赢得一分，若干轮比赛后，评出先进组，教师应进行适当奖励。
