7. interesting adj. 有趣的,令人感兴趣的。

但是他不进行体育运动——他只在电视上看体育节目!(1)but是一个转折连词,后面接一个从句,译为―但是‖。

句中的破折号表示进一步解释说明。

(2)短语play sports意为―进行体育活动‖,后面的them是第三人称复数宾格代词,用来指代上文的sports,作谓语动词watch的宾语。

注意watch TV译为―看电视‖,而watch sth. on TV译为―通过电视看……节目‖,TV前没有冠词。
