College is a place where people come from all around the country. We always hear conversations like "how can you take a shower when there is no curtain", or "how do you shower without a bath towel " in college. That's because the way the southern Chinese shower differs from the northern Chinese.
With the development of society and the increase of population mobility, the differences of shower and other lifestyles of the southern and the northern Chinese have been narrowing. Yet, learning and respecting the differences are still necessary and valuable, which can help us understand each other better and hold the nation together.
People from the south and north of China go to different places for shower. Water resources are unequally distributed in the south and north part of China. Abound water enables the northern Chinese to enjoy showering privately in their home, which is also influenced by their character. In contrast, in order to save resources the northern Chinese developed public bath where they can also talk and do back-rubbing for each other. Just like a saying goes the southern Chinese shower for shower while the northern Chinese shower for relationship.
