Unit 13 Lesson 4 同步辅导1.look,seem与appear.look作“好象,看起来”讲,指从外表上看。
seem指从内心里的“判断”。
appear 指给人以表面的印象。
.seem和appear后习惯接不定式to be;look后接to be常用于美国英语中,其意义相当于seem to be,都是“看起来”的意思。
.seem和look均可接as if引导的表语从句。
seem需要用it作形式主语,而look 的主语可以是形式主语it,也可以是其他的人称代词。
appear则不能。
.seem和appear可用于“It seems/appears that…”的句型结构,而look则不能。
.seem和appear可用于以there为引导词的句型中,look则不能。
