一、说教材
本单元语言目标是用if条件从句谈论结果。在SectionA中,涉及到
了三个话题:话题一:以不同的方式去参加聚会会出现的各种结果。
话题二:在各种可能的时间举行一次班级聚会会出现的各种结果。话
题三:在参加End of Year Party时如果不遵守聚会规则会出现的各种
结果。本课时是一般将来时态的延续,为正确运用这个时态提供场景,
也为条件状语复合句的学习奠定基础,具有承前启后的作用;就整个
单元来说它既是本单元的基本语言内容,又为本单元的知识扩展和语
言综合运用奠定基础。SectionB部分是知识的扩展和语言综合运用。
在SectionB中,涉及到了两个主要话题:话题一:加入或不加入专
业足球队会出现的各种结果。话题二:成为一名专业运动员或不成为
一名专业运动员会出现的结果。并且从第二个话题延升到写作训练。
用if条件句写自己将来想要从事的职业,以及从事这种职业的原因。
在Self check部分拓展了一些和日常生活紧密相关的话题,通过谈论
这些话题对if条件句的结构和用法进一步加以巩固。
二、说教学目标:
由于本单元的五个话题都涉及到了不同的条件下所产生的各种结果。
所以我确定的本课时的教学目标是:通过谈论图片和身边常见的话
题,学会if引导的条件状语从句的用法。即用if条件状语从句作出
假设,用will来谈论结果。
三、说教学重点:
一方面,由于本单元的话题是谈论结果,那么在不同的情境下其结果
也会不一样,所以根据不同的情境来推测并谈论各种结果是个重点。
另一方面,因为学生没有一个好的语言氛围,所以我侧重于听力和口
语的培养,多创设情境能让学生发挥想象,以此激发他们的学习兴
趣,。
四、说教学难点
学生容易记住主句用一般将来时态,从句用一般现在时态,但在判断
主句、从句方面容易混淆,因此,我将正确使用主句从句的时态定为
本课时的难点。
五、说学生
八年级学生已经学过一般将来时态和一般现在时态,已了解了这两种
时态的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句等形式。口语基础薄弱在口语运
用中判断if条件句的主句、从句也许会存在一定的困难。在运用一般
将来时和一般现在时态也许会产生混淆。
六、说教法
创设情境法、口语交际法、Pairwork。 通过创设开放式教学情境,
两人一组合作交流,使学生在具体的语言环境中感受if
条件状语从句的用法。
七、说教学过程
(一)情境导入
Ⅰ. 首先,用if提出各种假设导入新课,让学生通过用will回答会出
现的结果,进入学习状态,切入学习主题,自然进入新课:
①If you have some money, what will you buy?
②You go to school by bike because your home is very far from
the school. If you walk to school, what will happen?
③If you are late for school , what will happen?
④There is going to be a party in our school next week. I will
go to the party. If I go to the party, I will have a good
time. How about you? Help students answer If I go to the
party, I will have a great time too.
(二)出示课题, 让学生明确学习内容。
承接上一步,老师边说边板书课题:Unit5 If you go to the party, you’ll
have a
great time! SectionB帮助学生理解课题,并点出主句用一般将来时态,
if从句用一般现在时态,切入难点。
(三) 学习新课
1.通过谈论假设呈现1a中的几个词组,然后熟悉词组,学生六人一
组讨论What do you think is the
most important?人后个组长汇报各组的讨论情况,并及时给予鼓励。
2.通过谈论图片呈现听力材料理解对话学习if条件句,留下直观印象。
①First, look at the two pictures in the book and have students
tell what the pictures are about.
②Second, play the recording and have students listen and
finish the tasks in 2a and 2b, then check the answers.
(四)当堂训练一 2c Pairwork 巩固运用if条件句结构和用法。
①两人一组练习2c中的对话。
②利用2a 和2b中的内容,两人一组练习类似2c的对话。
③3分钟后进行表演,对表演得好的学生及时给予鼓励
(五)当堂训练二 拓展巩固 if条件句结构和用法
①给出例子 If I get up late tomorrow, I will be late for class. If
I am late for class, the teacher will be mad at me. If the
teacher is mad, she won't let me in. If she doesn't let me in,
I won't be able to have my class. If I can’t have my class, I
won’t do well on my test. If I don’t do well on my test, my
parents will be mad. If my parents are mad, they won’t let me
out on weekends. If I can’t go out on weekends, I will be
sad.
②将学生分成两个组,用下面两个句子进行句子接龙,看哪个组的同
学能将句子接得越长越好。
Group 1: If I have a lot of money, I will….
Group 2: If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, I will….
(六)总结归纳 突破难点。
让学生观察黑板上的句子并总结出if条件句中,主句用一般将来时
态,从句用一般现在时态。
(七) Homework
让学生完成Self check中的2部分,通过作业,从根本上了解每一位
学生的不足之处,为下一节课的教学提供一个方向。
