第六课时课时内容B. Start to read; Let’s check; Let’s sing.C. Story time课时分析本课时是在基本掌握本单元重点词汇和句型的基础上，进行的练习测试与故事阅读课。
Start to read中，有两个活动，一个是Find and say, 复习字母的书写、字形与发音的。
Zip在Mike的房间里发现了很多字母，学生需要帮助她把所有的字母都找出来，并借此复习本单元中学习过的字母Uu—Zz的字形和发音。
第二个活动为Find, tick and match, 教材展示了一个池塘，池塘里的六只白鹅姿态各异，学生需要认真观察它们各像哪个数字，再把它们与相应的英语单词匹配起来。
这个活动主要考查学生是否能将数字单词的汉语字形与英语字形联系起来。
Let’s check部分也包括两个活动。
一个是听音判断，一个是看一看圈一圈。
听音判断中，学生会听到四段对话，他们需要判断听到的内容是否与教材给出的图片相符。
这个活动检验学生能否听懂本单元中的重点问答句。
看一看圈一圈活动中，学生需要数一数格子里的物品数量，然后在给出两个数字单词中圈出正确的一个。
这个活动可以帮助学生将字形与字义统一起来，更牢固地记忆本单元学习的重点单词。
Let’s sing部分展示了一首儿歌Ten little candles。
这首歌由著名的儿歌Ten little Indian boys变化而来。
在这首歌曲中，学生可以练习1—10十个数字。
歌词简单，只是数字的逐一增加，学生掌握歌词比较容易。
Story time中小动物们悄悄来到Zoom的家，带来了礼物、蛋糕等物品，为他庆祝生日，给了他一个大大的惊喜。
只有Zip扫兴地说Zoom的蛋糕上有很多的蜡烛，所以不客气地说Zoom老了。
故事涉及到了新的单词：gift, surprise，本课的重点句式：Happy birthday, 以及一些常用的表达方式：Shhh! There’s Zoom. Let’s eat the cake. I have two gifts. 等。
学生在阅读小故事时可以复习已知知识，拓展自己的词汇及表达，为提高他们的文本阅读能力服务。

在对故事有了初步了解之后，同老师进行交流、讨论，使学生对故事内容有进一步的理解，使他们对故事更加感兴趣。

7. 完成Find and say 活动。

第一课时课时内容A. Let’s talk. Count and say.课时分析在Let’s talk部分，Sam和妈妈一起到蛋糕店为自己的生日选蛋糕。
学生学习到了表示选定这个的句式：This one, please.和如何询问物品数量的句式：How many...? 对话的中，店员问Sam需要几个蛋糕盘，学生会接触到两会词汇plate。
Sam回答需要五个。
Count and say活动中，展示了一个图片，图中有气球、蜡笔、铅笔、书、玩具熊、玩具鸭等物品，首先要让学生观察看到了什么，然后再谈论看到了多少。
在这个过程中，学生会自然地将数字与周围的物品联系起来，在应用、交流中掌握数字的表达及如何询问物品的数量。
在本课时中，学生必须先掌握数字的表达，才能进行对话。
因此，在教学对话之前，需要先让学生了解一至五五个数字的表达，然后才能进行本课教学内容的学习。
所以在教学中需要利用学生学习过的身体部位和文具等引出数字，让学生熟悉一至五数字的表达之后，再引出本课时的故事内容。
