特蕾莎修女：将爱播撒人间一、人物简介特蕾莎修女（Blessed Teresa of Calcutta，1910年8月27日－1997年9月5日），又称作德兰修女、特里莎修女、泰瑞莎修女，是世界著名的天主教慈善工作者，主要替印度加尔各答的穷人服务。
因其一生致力于消除贫困，于1979年得到诺贝尔和平奖。
2003年10月被教皇约翰·保罗二世列入了天主教宣福名单Beatification，特蕾莎修女的名称也因此变被祝福的特雷莎修女（Blessed Teresa）。
二、主要经历①兴办学校1948年，38岁的特蕾莎修女离开爱尔兰的罗瑞托修道院，来到印度加尔各答。
她做的第一件事，就是脱下了罗瑞托修女穿着的蓝色的道袍，改穿印度平民妇女常穿的白色棉纱丽。
特蕾莎修女是在车站后面的贫民窟展开工作的。
白天的经历让特蕾莎修女难以入睡，这些可怜的孩子们不但没有饭吃，没有衣穿，甚至连自己的名字也不会写，不会数最简单的数字，将来长大了怎么办？要从根本上解救这些孩子，莫过于让他们掌握知识！于是，在贫民区里办一所露天学校的想法，在特蕾莎修女的头脑中成熟了。
第二天，在一块大树下面的空地上，特蕾莎修女宣布那里就是教室，地面就是黑板，愿意念书的就坐下来。
经过她的耐心说服，巴布首先坐了下来，接着又坐下了四个孩子。
特蕾莎修女饶有趣味的讲课，渐渐地吸引了他们，其他的孩子也慢慢地走近了大树。
等到第二天特蕾莎修女再次来到大树下的时候，发现这里已经用破布、木板等物搭起了一座帐篷，坐在里面的小孩也比昨天多得多了。
就在这简陋的“教室”里，特蕾莎修女除了教孩子们一些简单的读读写写之外，还教他们卫生常识，比如刷牙、洗脸、洗澡等。
她还亲自带孩子们到井边，一个个教他们如何洗澡。
贫民窟的妇女们将这些看在眼里，记在心里，很快地，她们也仿效特蕾莎的做法，替自己的孩子洗澡了。
特蕾莎修女在贫民窟办露天学校的事儿很快就传开了，一个星期后，来听课的孩子达到了一百多人，后来又增加到了五百多人。
