翻译1：Method 2 (toluene distillation method)The method is used for the determination of water in crude drugs containing volatile constituents.Apparatus The apparatus consists of a 500 ml round bottom flask (A), a graduated receiving tube (B) and a reflux condenser (C) approximately 40 cm in length. All parts of the apparatus should be cleaned and dried in an oven.Measurement Place a quantity of the substance being examined which is anticipated to yield about 1-4 ml of water and accurately weighed, in the flask A, add about 200 ml of toluene and a few glass beads if necessary. Assemble the apparatus and fill the receiving tube B with toluene through the condenser. Heat the flask gently, when toluene begins to boil, adjust the temperature and allow to distill at a rate of 2 drops per second .When the volume of water in the receiving tubes does not increase any more, rinse the inside of condenser with toluene and push down the toluene adhering to the wall with a brush or other suitable tools. Continue the distillation for 5 minutes, cool to room temperature and disconnect the apparatus. Push down any droplet of water adhering to the wall of the receiving tube with a copper wire wetted with toluene. Allow to stand until water is completely separated from toluene in the receiving tube(a small amount of methylene blue may be added to facilitate observation).Record the volume of water distilled and calculate the percentage of water in the substance being examined.Annotations When the chemical pure grade toluene is used for direct determination, if necessary, add a small amount of water into the toluene, fully shake it and stand still, discard the water after separation and use the toluene after distillation.Translation 1:方法2（甲苯蒸馏法）该方法用于含有挥发性成分的药材的水的测定。

作业讲评：The Founders of Modern ScienceThe men who founded modern science had two merits which are not necessarily found together: immense patience in observation, and great boldness in framing hypothesis. The second of these merits had belonged to the earliest Greek philosophers; the first existed, to a considerable degree, in the later astronomers of antiquity. But no one among the ancients, except perhaps Aristarchus, possessed both merits, and no one in the Middle Ages possessed either. Copernicus, like his great successors, possessed both. He knew all that could be known, with the instruments existing in his days, about the apparent motions of the heavenly bodies on the celestial sphere, and he perceived that the diurnal rotation of the earth was a more economical hypothesis than the revolution of all the celestial spheres.创立近代科学的那些人有两种不一定并存的长处：作观察时十分耐心，设假说时有大无畏精神。
SOP(标准作业程序)

所谓标准，在这里有最优化的概念，即不是随便写出来的操作程序都可以称做SOP，而一定是经过不断实践总结出来的在当前条件下可以实现的最优化的操作程序设计。
说得更通俗一些，所谓的标准，就是尽可能地将相关操作步骤进行细化，量化和优化，细化，量化和优化的度就是在正常条件下大家都能理解又不会产生歧义。
SOP不是单个的，是一个体系，虽然我们可以单独地定义每一个SOP，但真正从企业管理来看，SOP不可能只是单个的，必然是一个整体和体系，也是企业不可或缺的。
余世维在他的讲座中也特别提到：一个公司要有两本书，一本书是红皮书，是公司的策略，即作战指导纲领；另一本书是蓝皮书，即SOP，标准作业程序，而且这个标准作业程序一定是要做到细化和量化。
