新时代“大学英语视听说”课程的思考[摘要]近年来中国对外经济文化学术交流频繁，加入世贸组织后，社会对英语人才的需求量更大，对英语的实际应用能力要求更高。大学英语四、六级考试中的听力部分增加至35％表明了听说能力在实际运用中的重要性；高等学校英语应用能力等级考试中的听力部分及其题型特点，充分显示了英语学习的最终使用方式的特点。在英语视听说课教学改革的过程中，学生和老师都面临着新的机遇和挑战，开展新的英语教学模式，从本质上理解英语教育教学的重要意义亟待创新和实施，如：改革教学机制，自主创新开课、选课方式；选择合适的教材，编著高效率的教材，注重教材内容的趣味性和时代性；突出教师地位，加大师资培训投入。

2010年7月13日的“国家精品课程培训项目”中的“英语视听说骨干教师高级研修班”培训活动中，除了开拓视野，最重要的就是被触动、启发。湖南师范大学副校长，全国大学外语教学指导委员会副主任白解红教授从一个例子：一位高职院校教师在“外教杯”教师技能竞赛中脱颖而出并夺冠开始，深入浅出地介绍和剖析了视听说能力不但是从事英语专业工作人员的重要基础，对于就业人员来说，甚至是一块得力的敲门砖。因此如何提高学生的听说能力显得极为重要，这意味着改革英语视听说课程已成为时代的需要。众所周知，英语是国际通用语言，要想参与国际竞争就必须拥有具有国际视野、国际竞争力的高质量人才，据统计，国际上的85％的学

二、课程教学目的 英语视听说课程的教学目的是培养学生扎实的语言基本功和听说专业技能，即加强学生英语听力能力的同时着重发展学生的英语听说能力。使学生在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头信息交流，同时培养和训练学生自主学习能力，提高综合文化素养，以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要，使学生能够真正具有良好的国际交流能力。 三、课程教学要求 本课程教学大纲在教学要求上分为一般要求阶段(一年级)和较高要求阶段(二年级)，本课程属于较高要求阶段。现将本课程的教学要求规定如下： 1、词汇：通过本课程的学习，学生的词汇量应应达到4500个单词和700个词组，其中2000个单词和500个词组为积极词汇，即要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用，包括口头表达以及书面表达两个方面。 2、语法：巩固和加深基本语法知识，提高在语篇水平上运用句法结构的能力。 3、听的能力：能听懂英语讲课内容，能听懂一般性英语谈话和一般性题材讲座。能基本听懂英语国家慢速英语教学节目，语速为每分钟130词左右，能掌握其中大意，抓住要点和有关细节。能运用基本的听力技巧帮助领会讲话者的观点和态度。 4、说的能力：能在学习过程中与老师、同学进行交流，并能就某一主题进行讨论。能就日常话题和来自英语国家的人士进行交谈。能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言，表达比较清楚，语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。
