Unit 5 Canada-"The True North"——Reading ——“真北方”之旅李黛予和她表妹刘倩要去加拿大大西洋海岸的蒙特利尔市看望她们的表兄妹们。

同位语从句一般用来解释或说明这些名词的具体含义或内容。

在逻辑上表现为同位关系。

各位评委老师,上午好!
我是号考生,我今天说课的题目是《unit5_Canadathe_true_north》。

我主要从教材分析、学情分析、教学方法与策略、教学过程、板书设计等几个步骤向大家详细地讲解我对这节课的安排。

一、教材分析
这篇文章以游记的形式,记述了李黛予和刘倩去加拿大看她们的表兄妹的途中见闻, 沿着从西向东的旅游路线向我们介绍了加拿大的地理位置、面积、地貌、主要城市、生态环境、风土人情以及该国的多元文化。

两位女孩在旅途中看到了自然美景及野生动物,文章还提到了加拿大的自然资源,介绍虽然不是详细,但涉及面较宽,使学生对加拿大的美丽、富饶、幅员辽阔、地广人稀等特征有了更深的了解。

学生可以通过学习课文,掌握新的词汇句型和游记的写法,提高学生的阅读能力。

二、说教学目标
根据《新课程》总目标的描述,结合本课的内容,我把这节课的教学目标系统化,分别是:语言知识目标,语言技能目标和情感目标。

1、理解课文,理解加拿大各地的风土人情和该国的多元文化
2、学会根据旅游路线读懂游记,复述课文。

3、调动学生的积极性,谈论他们所感兴趣话题。

(三)学生情况
课前学生通过网络和其它途径加拿大的相关知识有一定的了解,但学生缺乏足够的词汇,
很少用英语表达和交流。

四、说教法
我的教学设计贯彻以下的教学理念,使学生成为课堂真正的主人,而老师是组织者,监控者和帮助者;把语言结构和语言功能相结合;在学习英语语言中接受一定的情感育。

1、速读法:根据高中英语教材侧重阅读理解特点,让学生快速阅读,以尽快了解文章的大意。

2. 问答法:帮助学生理解文章的细节。

3. 翻译法:适当地运用翻译可帮助学生理解文章的难点。

4. 讨论法:通过Pair work, Group work,让学生都得到一次口语训练的机会.我会根据文章
设计一些适当的话题。

5. 快乐教学法:在教学过程中,尽可能利用多媒体技术、图片、课件等刺激学生的感官系统,创造一种和谐的学习氛围,让老师教得开心,学生学得开心。

五、说教学过程
第一步:引入话题
课前播放加拿大国歌,由歌词中的the true north引入,提问它指的是哪个国家,学生回答加拿大,接着提问:how much do know about Canada?在幻灯片上打出有关加拿大的选择题,地理位置,语言,主要城市,国家领导人和今年加拿大温哥华冬奥会等方面。

这一步是在学生预习和查阅相关资料的基础上,采用组外竞争组内合作的方式,学生抢答,以小组为单位计分。

目的在于激发学生对本单元话题的兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,引入本课主题。

第二步:预测文章的内容
1、根据刚才的题目和幻灯片上的地图,让学生对加拿大作个简介。

2、看本单元的标题Canada--- “The True North”猜测文章会谈论哪些内容。

这一步骤是个人自由发言,为阅读作准备,提高学生预测文章的能力
第三步:阅读文章 A TRIP ON“THE TRUE NORTH”
1、给学生三分钟时间快速阅读文章,找出下面问题的答案。

①文章标题的“the true north” 指的是什么?与单元标题的是一样的吗?
②描述这两个女孩旅游的方向和路线,去了哪些城市,在33页的地图中标出。

个人阅读,采用问答方法,目的是提高学生快速阅读的能力,理解文章的整体大意。

2、听课本录音,判断正误。

训练学生的听力,并为接下来的回答问题做准备。

3、给学生5分钟时间认真阅读文章,回答问题
在学生阅读之前,告诉他们要注意文章提到的城市,针对每段提出一个问题,要求学生用完整的句子回答问题。

进一步训练学生的阅读能力和语言组织能力,更深入理解加拿大各地的风土人情。

第四步:攻克理解重难点
让学生再看一遍课文,找出自己难以理解的地方,分小组进行讨论,解决。

接着全班分为四组,各组依次就课文内容提出一个问题让其他组回答,答对组得分。

老师必要的时候提供帮助,同时把学生提出的难点要点板书出来。

采用小组合作学习; 小组竞赛,培养学生自主学习合作探究的能力。

第五步:口语训练
1、让学生使用三个词来描述加拿大,并根据课文所读到的内容解释说明原因。

比如:big ; empty; beautiful; (加拿大是世界第二大国,地广人稀,风景优美。


2、让学生根据33页地图中画出的路线,复述他们在这些地方的所见所闻。

采取双人活动进行讨论、复述,检测学生是否真正理解了文章。

此外,让学生进行口语训练,鼓励每个学生都开口说英语。

第六步:作业布置
1、复习课文,尤其是重难点。

2、写一篇文章关于李黛予和刘倩在加拿大的见闻。

这是课堂的延伸,训练写作能力。

四、课堂板书设计
将黑板划为左右两块,左边播放幻灯片,右边板书学生提出的难点,生词短语等。
