2008/1/13(2006 /10/21！！！！)（已詳細補全4部分及加試，申請加精）參見2006 年10 月21 機經，紅色部分是我補充的參考了Promethues的帖子閲讀（难）First stage 很籠統，沒看明白。
Second stage是通過traveller １．讲的comparative education.发展三阶段．的discription來觀察其他國家的education system. 舉了某著名教育學家的例子，說他去了很多國家，然後回來寫了本什麽書，好像是criticize的；然後這本書被批駁，說過於limit (多選，問哪兩方面被批評是limit 的；答案所在的那個句子結構很複雜，我大概猜的，不誤導了，看有沒牛人補充一下) 。
後面一段說compare to 這個教育學家，另外一個（不記得名字了，姑且叫教育學家B）is XX. XX 是一個詞彙題，我不認得所以也沒記住，但根據意思選了個successful. 這個教育學家B怎麽怎麽的（沒考，就沒仔細讀），然後來了句Although他的書很systematic, 他還是被認爲是第一個descriptive的XX(考句子簡化，答案就是這個，原句有些彆扭，不太記得，反正有個although)。
再來第三階段以後的我就模糊了，因爲第一篇，感覺很難，又怕時間來不及~~~大概意思是一直講到現在的發展吧。
最後幾句是講現在的教育學家都focus on 什麽business learning啊之類的。

２.比较简单，背景也是旧托常考的关于火山的．讲的是关于火山爆发前的预测。
一開始說火山爆发analogue to weather forecast，問為什麽這樣說。
前兆主要有地震頻率加大，但是也有例外的，舉了個XX山的例子，名字忘了，它跟Hawaii某山在同一段裏面（考，問提到這兩個山為什麽）；還有m物質在地層中上升，導致XX變熱。

2008.6.21 北美机经第一部分、阅读：第1篇、关于fungi和plant的根部的共生关系。
（1）10分钟14道题目。
内容，真菌与植物共生的关系。
想说历史上的误区－认为真菌都是有害的，原因是案例都是针对危害植物的。
德国植物学家，某某教授（我只能屏记忆，因为没有带稿纸回来），因为黑块菌的经济价值（luctive，考点），应德国政府的研究在针对德国黑块菌的研究实时发现——真菌与橡树的根系均有供盈关系。
真菌分解某些植物掺杂而得到养分、矿物质，其中一部分分给植物所用；另一方面职务的光合作用的部分养分转给真菌。
同时这些关系在针叶树中也发现——在贫瘠的地方尤为重要，因为真菌可以吸收更广泛的矿物质有益于共生关系的植物（考点），所以共生关系是有益的——补充相关生物知识的不足。
第2篇、关于古希腊的马的雕塑的发展演变，有个单词sleek .会问什么意思雕像：1200BC－900BC的地中海地区雕像主题是马，一般是宗教所用（考点）。
但是雕像较小且用陶瓷做成，后在800BC以后用铜为主。
期间早期造型与陶瓷阶段类似，简单，只是茎部能辨出是马！（考点），随着时间推移，工艺进化（考点）。
其用途在罗马期间因为马不是经济动物（牛），主要用途是运输、和战争（考点）。
作为宗教图腾马主要表明马主人借着马的宗教意义在战争中的获得保佑（考点）。
第3篇、关于恐龙和鸟的相似形比较。
恐龙和鸟在很多方面相似，第一有羽毛恐龙化石发现，第恐龙下蛋，并且会孵化。
恐龙的体积增加迅速，这个只见于温血动物，类似于鸟。

1、描述你的role model
各位可以把这个题目与之前我们曾经花大力气准备的“如想见一位名人，将会是谁？”联系在一起。
所以如果我要说，我肯定说Bill Gates。
理由有三：很成功（细节为31岁便成为世界首富）；第二点为很有勇气（在大三时候毅然决然without any hesitation地从哈佛退学drop out of Harvard University）。
最后热衷慈善actively involved in the charity cause （其与其妻多次深入非洲，并带去大量的善款charity fund，当然有些人指责其此举的目的在于逃税，不过我还是看到事情好的一面吧）
2、小孩子要不要学习画画
你的回答可以是肯定的。
I think it is a good idea to let children learn drawing. and I hold this opinion for the following reasons. the first reason is that drawing provides a chance for them to imagine.for example, a kid wanna go to the moon but obviously he can't do this very easily. so he can imagine that his life on the moon through drawing. second, kids can make some friends through drawing practice. let's say, two or three kids meet with each other in a drawing training class. and since they have the same interest, so i think it is relatively easier for them to be good friends. finally, drawing is said to be good for intelligence development of kids since drawing will strongly activate certain areas of kids brain which will surely boost their IQ.
3、读，学生写信给学校，要求停止贩卖垃圾食品(garbage food)，一是健康2是省钱。
听，男生不干，说有部分食品是健康的，而且适度吃一点垃圾食品没有问题，上次他们搞论文，吃冰淇淋大家都很开心。

4、动物利他主义(altruism)，加利福尼亚有一种松鼠，他们成群生活，生活在山上，他们的天敌是lion。
群中有一只松鼠有强烈的保护他们成员的冲动，在敌人来的时候他们会发出警告，然后让其他松树有时间可以跑掉，但是他们自己却陷入危险，被Lion发现在自己的位子，他们的危险度是其他松树的2倍，但是他还是会牺牲自己来保护他人。
5、一男生，一个月后要搬到一个新的apartment，但是这个地方已经有家具了，所以男生在想自己的家具要怎么办。
1. 寄存起来，一年以后搬家的时候可以用；2、卖掉，有钱拿，但是一年以后要重新买家具。
6、经济学，教授讨论经济俱乐部，俱乐部里面的成员可以互相帮助，他们有着共同的背景，如果遇到困难可以打电话求助。
有两个优点1：他们可以共享经验，比如说一个饭店老板，他想找人帮助打理挣来的钱，那么他可以从俱乐部连绵找一个会计，帮他打理，他信任那个人。
2、通过俱乐部可以扩大人际关系网络，可以找俱乐部里面的人的熟人。
比如说那个饭店老板，他可以把俱乐部里面的人推荐给他的其他老板朋友。
