Date: October 4, 2016 My life have looked like a overturned palette,became mixing and colorful, since I came to Nanjing university. The life here was not only unfamiliar, stressful and fearful but also exciting, motivating and challenging. Most of time, I realized that this large platform would broaden my horizons and provide better scientific research conditions.
Last month I carried out a number of basic experiments, including the cladoceran D. magna breeding and two kinds of green algae Chlamydomonas reinhardtii and Scenedesmus obliquus cultivation. Due to lack of feeding experience, the fate of these daphnids was not easy. After the birth of small Daphnia, the female parents kept dropping dead. At the same time, the initial cell specific growth rate of green algae was higher than previous research and not steady, the persuasive reasons were different light conditions and experimental operations. What a bad beginning. By this taken, I have to master these basic experiment skills expertly and detail thinking of problems in the future experiment. Last but not least, I will try my best to consult more scientific articles related to my specific interest, which is the source of innovation.
During the boring experiment life, self-regulation is vital. Maintain a positive and optimistic attitude towards life. Instead of being entangled by future, I must learn to throw the troubles away and enjoy the scenery on the way. Yesterday already passed, tomorrow is unknown and live in the present.。
