She is also a kind girl. She‟s usually smiling and favora ble. And she isn‟t good at simulate, so everyone can easily discover it.One day, we had a Singing competition. I wanted to join the Competition but I was scared to be alone, so I asked her. Although she already had many programs, she agreed. But the seco nd day, she was in a bad mood. I asked her, but she didn‟t admit. I asked her all the time, finally she told me the reason: Maggie also wanted to sing, and she hoped she would sing with her. But she didn‟t want anybody hurt, so she was thinking about it. That‟s not a very big deal, but she considered it for a long time. Some people think respect means to be polite to each other, to not laugh at each other and to not say rude things to each other. I think respect means a good manner, a defined behavior and a noble moral principle which we all are expected to have?The person I respect most is my best friend-Mathew. He was my classmate when I was in primary school in Hong Kong. He was very smart and funny. On exam, he can easily get full marks; everyone liked him and asked him for help with the homework. After class, he played with us on the playground and told us jokes that made everyone laugh!In year 3, my math was so bad. I failed math in the mid-term exam. I felt very bad and he comforted me. Then he stared to help me with my math, he taught me after every class. In the final exam, I got a good result. I was so grateful to him. And he plays piano very well, and he got many prizes in the piano competition.In year 6, I came to Shenzhen to study because of m y parent‟s work and we had not seeneach other for a long time. Fortunately, I have his e-mail address and we still keep contact on-line occasionally.In the summer holiday of this year, I met him in the primary school in Hong Kong. We felt very surprised and excited. We talked a lot about our recent life, and then we played together for one day and had dinner together. He was the same, as friendly and humorous as always.Now I will tell you why I respect him most: because he always does everything better than me. My father is a very moral person. He tells me that it was not easy for my grandmother to bring him up. Whenever he hears my grandmother is ill, he becomes very anxious and unhappy. Therefore, he often goes back to the hometown to see her and take care of her. He is really worried about her. What he says and what he does always impresses me deeply. It is my father who sets an example for me; be kind and respect your elders.Loving his family, his wife and dear children, is another one of my father‟s many virtues. However busy he is with work, he always tries to spend quality time with us. He often plays with my younger brother and helps my mother do housework. He takes care of my mother, such as when she was hurt last week. He cares fo r us so much. I‟ll never forget what he told me one day, “This is what a man should do for his family.” and this is what he abides by.To me, my father is strict with me when I do things, and he always gives me advice. For e xample“Friends are very important”,“Being angry is bad for everyone”or“Nobody is perfect, so you can always improve”. My father gave me a saying on my 9th birthday. It is“Don‟t cry over spilt milk, and don‟t be sad because of withered flowers”. I was unhap py because I wanted more toys at that time. However, those toys have been broken for years but his advice has stayed with me. To this day I remember and try to abide by what he told me on my 9th birthday. I don‟t like what he told me in the past, but now I know he is right. He always cares for me, and his care is embodied in the many small details, embodied in the many unknown actions, embodied in the knowledge he has given and continues to give to me.It is from my father that I really learn the famous sa yings “It is never too old to learn.” My father is always as busy as a bee, but no matter how busy he is, he continues to try to improve. He will often have some training classes on weekends, because he wants to improve himself, which makes him exhausted and tired.A real man should shoulder the burden of what he has to do.
