Rain and Sun
设计思路：
本节课是冀教版小学英语四年级下册第二单元的第四节课： Rain and Sun.主要学习描述天气的名词，内容与生活联系紧密，通过图片教学也可极大的调动学生的感官，让学生感知季节、月份和天气之间的关系，潜移默化地将知识与生活相联系，有助于学生对单词的理解与记忆。
这充分体现了修订后的新教材趣味性强的特点。
尤其是本节课的这首歌曲，它可以进一步提高学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
小学英语就是要训练学生眼，耳，手，脑配合使用的学习能力，本课教学中，我充分体现以学生为主体，以训练为主线的教学思想。
个人练，小组练，比赛练等始终贯穿整节课，促进学生全身心地，积极主动地投入到英语学习中去。
教学目标：
通过学习本课的重点单词rain, sun, hot, snow, cold 以及重点句子培养学生听、说、唱的能力，进一步提高学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性，树立乐观向上的学习态度。
教学重点：
1、表示天气的名词rain, sun, cloud, wind, snow
2、表示十二个月份的单词
教学难点：
让学生熟练掌握本课的单词和句子。
教学准备：
本课所需图片、十二个月份的图片以及单词卡、幻灯片等。
教学过程：
Step 1: Warming up
Greeting
T: Hello! Boys and girls.
Ss: Hello! Miss Li.
T: How are you today?
Ss: Fine, thanks. How are you?
T: I am very well. Thank you! Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Show the pictures in the computer
出示sun 的图片并提问
T: What’s this?
Ss: Sun.
T: Yes. This is the sun.（反复领读）
T: How do you feel when you are under the sun?
Ss: I feel hot.
T: Yes. The sun is hot.
出示cloud 和rain 的图片
T: What is this?
Ss: This is a cloud. / This is rain.
T: Do you like raining? Where is the rain from?
Ss: It is from the cloud.
T: Yes. The cloud is above. The rain is below.
Do you know the meaning of above and below?
(拿起一个文具盒和一本书动作演示above 和 below的含义)
用同样的方法学习wind 和snow

学生齐声朗读，检查学生对新知识的掌握情况。
Step 3: Practice
1. 大小声游戏读单词
When I say a word loudly .you must say it quietly .When I say a word quietly you must say it loudly.
2. Stand up and read the word card
3. 根据教师给出的简笔画试着写单词
Step 4: Sing a song
1.播放歌曲，先让学生听听这首歌是关于什么内容的。
（What’s the song about?）
2出示有关十二个月份的图片，带领学生根据图上所画内容逐句讲解歌词大意。
3. Now please look at the picture and listen to the tape again.
4. 带领学生根据图片试唱歌曲
Step 5: Summing up
T: Today we have learned some words about weather and the months. Can you say these words? (Show them the cards again.)
引导学生再次回顾本节课重点单词，检查学生的理解、掌握情况
Step 6: Homework
1. Remember seven new words(记住7个新单词): sun（太阳）, cloud（云）, rain（雨）, wind（风）,snow(雪) ,cold(冷的)and hot(热的).
2. Practice singing the song of this lesson after class.（课下练习唱本节课歌曲）.

Rain and Sun 这堂课内容对学生来说难度并不大。
通过一首歌曲复习了一些有关描述天气状况和月份的词汇。
歌曲中的是那些词也容易理解。
因此，我把教学目标定位在引导学生运用语言进行交际与说唱上。
运用多种手段。
启发和鼓励学生灵活运用所学语言，以达到培养学生乐学、易学的目的。
为了使学生简单清楚地学习，我通过大量使用肢体语言、简笔画、说唱，游戏，练习，教唱，图片演示等多种手段来定位本课的风格特点，活跃课堂气氛，提高学生学习英语的兴趣，促进学生全身心地积极主动地投入到英语学习中去。

本节开始上课以轻松问候Greeting开始，给学生创造良好的学习氛围，课文导入这节课，我们将要学习有关天气的单词。
新概念New concepts： 1. What is it? 课件出示太阳、云、风、雪图片，问：What is it? 引出rain sun, hot, snow, cold这些单词。
让学生会说： This is the sun. The sun is hot. This is the cloud and the rain. This is the wind.
This is snow. Snow is cold and white. 播放第一部分录音磁带，学生看书跟读。
Practice练习:小组活动，教师用各种方法帮助学生记忆新单词，巩固句子，能用英语描述自己喜爱的天气，还会询问对方的感受。

2.Let’s sing! The Month Song 播放录音，学生听完整首歌，说出自己听到的单词或句子，
再把歌词写在黑板上，逐句朗读，再跟唱。
整节课学生对part1的名词掌握熟练，但应加强对讨论的练习，再多给学生时间去对话
会更好。
