英语演讲稿 gratitude to nature
Gratitude to Nature
Good evening everyone,
I am xxx from the institute of xxxxxx. It is a great honor for me to stand here today. My topic is gratitude to nature.
As sand in the hourglass of time flow away, we know the gratitude gradually. We show our thanks to our parents teachers, friends, classmates, even to our enemies. But always, we forget the one who gives us the most, the best for free wholeheart edly. If you ask who is it, I’d like to tell you that, it is ——nature.
Every morning, when we open our eyes, the golden sunlight shines into our rooms. We feel that we are surrounded by warmth and brightness. It is nature, who gives us the sun.
On rainy days, the rain always talks to me with her soft voice——a lullaby which makes everything fall asleep quietly. When it is sunny, the sunshine always greets me with his warm smile which makes everything full of energy. It is nature, who shows us the changes of the weather.
During the day, white clouds swim in the wide sky. Birds sing beautiful songs. The wind kisses our eyes. All living things on the ground are flourishing. During the night, stars are shining at the distant window dressed with a big blue curtain. The cricket is chirping in the grass, and the gold dawn is napping in the arms of the night. It is nature, who gives us days and nights.
The change of seasons, the growth of life, the color of plants……all these things are given by nature who never asks us for any payoff.
Bees sip honey from flowers and hum their thanks when they leave.
Trees show their thanks to roots below the earth who claim no rewards for making the branches fruitful.
Even a sheep has the feeling of filial piety. Even a crow has returns for their parents’ nurturing.
Even nature himself knows gratitude.
Always, we are accustomed to thank the light but we should not forget the lamp holder standing in the shadow with persistence and patience.
Unfortunately, most of us live in metropolises. we live a life flooded with industrial products. We pave the ground with concrete to show our power to conquer the earth. The air we breathe everyday is mixed with smoke and dust and other harmful gases. Even our foods are not from the fields of a farmer, but factories with chimneys and sewage pipes.
How could we possibly be with nature?
Someone would say:”Lo and behold, how deep and how wide is the gap between me and the so-called nature! ”You may stand by him. You may say that we can still live happily and elegantly without nature, you may hold the belief that modern technology can solve all the problems we face. If so, I’d like to ask you to turn around to see how little we are even in contrast to a small mountain, how hopeless we are in the face of natural disasters.
Even if we are not among deer and wolves like our ancestors or a solitude cabin-dwelling misfit, but still you can enjoy the grace and mercy given by nature. With a heart full of gratitude and purity. Your thoughts can shine with shimmering leaves; your
beating heart can sing along with an early-spring wind, your life can be colorful and close to nature.

2024英语演讲稿-自然是我们的母亲 Nature Is Our Mother
2024英语演讲稿-自然是我们的母亲 Nature Is OurMotherLadies and gentlemen,Good afternoon! Today, I stand before you to talk about a topic that is close to my heart - nature. Nature is not just a part of our lives; it is our mother. It has nurtured us, provided for us, and sustained us for centuries. But sadly, we often take its blessings for granted. In the hustle and bustle of modern life, we have become disconnected from nature. Our fast-paced lifestyle has made us blind to the beauty that surrounds us. We are so consumed by technology and material possessions that we forget to appreciate the simple things in life - the feel of the wind on our face, the sound of birds chirping, the scent of freshly bloomed flowers. But nature is more than just a source of beauty; it is also our life-support system. It provides us with clean air to breathe, pure water to drink, and fertile soil to cultivate. Without nature, we would not exist. Yet, we continue to exploit and destroy it, as if we are not dependent on it for our survival.Deforestation, pollution, and climate change are just some of the ways we are harming our mother nature. Every day, millions of trees are cut down, oceans are polluted, and greenhouse gases are emitted into the atmosphere. These actions not only harm the environment but also endanger our own future. It is high time that we realize the importance of nature and take responsibility for our actions. We must strive to be good stewards of the earth, just as a child takes care of their mother. Planting trees, reducing waste, conserving energy, and advocating for sustainable practices are some of the ways we can show our gratitude to nature.Education also plays a crucial role in preserving our mother nature. By teaching future generations about the importance of nature and the need to protect it, we can create a more sustainable and harmonious world. It is our duty to pass on the knowledge and love for nature to the next generation. In conclusion, nature is our mother. It has given us life, beauty, and sustenance. We must realize that we are a part of nature, not separate from it. We must treat it with respect, love, and care. Let us inspire others to appreciate and protect our mother nature, so that future generations can also enjoy its blessings. Remember, nature is not just a resource; it is our life. Thank you.。

乌鸦反哺给人的道理英语作文
乌鸦反哺:自然的启示In the vast tapestry of nature, the story of the crow's filial piety stands as a profound symbol, a timeless parable that teaches us profound lessons about the essence of life and the responsibilities that we owe to those who have nurtured us. This essay explores the profound implications of the crow's behavior and how it resonates with human values and ethics. In the animal kingdom, the crow is renowned for its intelligence and adaptability. But it is their behavior towards their elderly parents that truly sets them apart. Once the young crows have grown and fledged, they do not abandon their parents. Instead, they return to feed and care for them, much like a human child would do for their aging parents. This act of filial piety, this reversal of the nurturing role, is a powerful reminder of the debts we owe to those who have raised us.The crow's behavior teaches us about the importance of reciprocity and gratitude. Just as the crows repay their parents' kindness with their own care, we too must strive to repay the debts of gratitude we owe to our own parentsand mentors. They have guided us through life's complexities, sacrificed for our needs, and provided us with the foundation upon which we build our futures. It is our duty to reciprocate this kindness, to provide them with the same care and support that they once gave to us.Moreover, the crow's filial piety reminds us of the importance of respecting and honoring our elders. In many cultures, the elderly are revered as repositories of wisdom and experience. They have lived through different eras, witnessed historical changes, and accumulated a wealth of knowledge that can guide us in our own lives. By respecting and caring for our elders, we not only uphold the values of filial piety but also contribute to the preservation of their rich heritage and wisdom. The crow's filial piety also serves as a powerful metaphor for the circular nature of life. Just as the crows return to feed their parents, so must we, in turn, care for the next generation. This cycle of giving and receiving, of nurturing and being nurtured, is a fundamental aspect of human existence. It is through this cycle that we ensurethe continuity of life, passing down our values, traditions, and wisdom to the next generation. In conclusion, the crow's filial piety provides a powerful lesson in ethics and morality. It teaches us about the importance of reciprocity, gratitude, respecting our elders, and nurturing the next generation. These values are not just relevant to the animal world; they are the fundamental building blocks of any civilized society. By embracing these values, we can create a more harmonious, respectful, and grateful world where every individual recognizes and fulfills their duties towards their family and society.**乌鸦反哺:自然的启示**在自然界这幅宏伟的画卷中,乌鸦反哺的故事作为一个深刻的象征,一个永恒的寓言,向我们传授了关于生命本质和我们应如何回馈养育之恩的重要道理。
感恩大自然英文作文
感恩大自然英文作文英文:Gratitude to nature is something that is deeply ingrained in me. Growing up in a rural area, I was surrounded by the beauty of nature every day. The vast expanse of green fields, the clear blue sky, and the chirping of birds were a constant reminder of the wonders of nature. As I grew older, I began to appreciate nature even more. I realized that everything we have, from the air we breathe to the food we eat, comes from nature. Without it, we would not be able to survive. One of the things that I am most grateful for is the changing seasons. I love the way the leaves turn red and gold in the fall, and the way the snow blankets the ground in winter. Each season has its own unique beauty, and Ifeel lucky to be able to experience them all. Another thing that I am grateful for is the diversity of life on earth. From the tiniest insect to the largest mammal, every livingthing has its own place in the ecosystem. It is truly amazing to think about how everything is connected. But despite all of the beauty and wonder of nature, we humans often take it for granted. We pollute the air and water, destroy natural habitats, and contribute to climate change. It is important for us to remember that we are not separate from nature, but a part of it. We must take care of the earth if we want it to continue to provide for us.中文:感恩大自然是我内心深处的一种情感。
