【指点迷津】辨析:arrive,get 和reach这三个单词均有“到达”之意,具体区别如下:(1)arrive是不及物动词,接小地点时用介词at(2)get也是不及物动词,后面接介词toe.g. The students get to school at 7:30 every day. 学生们每天七点半到校。

(3)reach是及物动词,后面不接任何介词。

e.g. Tom and I reached Shanghai last week. 汤姆和我上周到达上海。

这是“there be ”句型的一般过去时的形式。

其结构为:There was(were)…表示“有……”例句:There was a pen in the box. 昨天在盒子里有一支钢笔。

3. We have got lots of food. 我们有许多食物。

“lots of:” 表示“许多”,后跟可数名词,与many用法相同,后跟不可数名词,与much用法相同。

4. An old lady talked about her life many years ago.一位老太太谈论了她很多年前的生活。

talk about 意为“谈论”。

类似的固定短语搭配:talk to sb. 意为“和某人谈话”5. She didn’t have a television or a radio. 她没有电视机和收音机。

“didn’t=did not ”“did”是“do(does)”的过去式,是助动词。

表示过去时态的句子,动词要用过去式,变否定句时要加助动“did”.加上“did”后,实义动词要用原形。

6. Why is she wearing these clothes? Because she was a dancer .She danced in lots ofChinese cities.她为什么穿这些衣服?因为她是舞蹈演员。

她去中国的许多城市跳过舞。

7. Did she learn any foreign languages?她学过外语吗?8. What did she do yesterday? 昨天她做了什么了?这是以“what”引导的特殊疑问句,由特殊疑问词(what, why, where…)加上一般疑问句构成特殊疑问句。

IV Grammar.动词过去式的变化规则1.一般直接在动词后面加-ed. 如:play-played2.以字母e结尾的动词后加-d.3.以重读闭音节结尾,且末尾只有一个辅音字母的,双写这个辅音字母,再加ed. 如:stop-stopped4.以辅音字母加y结尾的,变y为I,再加ed. 如:study-studied(英语26个英文字母中元音字母只有5个,即a, e, i, o, u)5. 不规则动词的过去式do- did teach –tought make-madebe-was\were have-had leave-leftcome-came meet-met take-tookread-read write-wrote see-sawgo-went get-got send-sent★.一般过去时一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。

通常和表示过去的时间状语连用,如yesterday, last week, last night, ago含有be 动词的一般过去时肯定句主语+was\were +其他I was in Chengdu last year.否定句主语+ wasn’t\weren’t+其他I wasn’t in Chengdu last year.一般疑问句Was\were +主语+其他Was you in Chengdu last year.?不含有be动词的一般过去式的句式结构肯定句主语+动词过去式+其他I played basketball yesterday.否定句主语+didn’t +动词原形+其他I didn’t play basketball yesterday.一般疑问句Did +主语+动词原形+其他Did you play basketball yesterday?V Exercises.一.
