Last term my classmate Elise looked worried, because she was having difficulties learning En glish. The first problem was that she couldn’t get the pronunciation right. She was asked to borrow some tapes from her teacher and listen to them at home and repeat the difficult sentences. Listening really helped her pronunciation a lot. The second challenge was that she forgot a lot of new words. She was told to always write the new words in her notebook and study them at home and even study on the train on the way to school. It really helped. The third trouble was that she could not always understand when people talked to her. She was advised to join an English club to practice speaking English. The English club met after school on Mondays and Wednesdays. The last problem was that she didn’t get much writing practice. She thought of a fun way to practice writing by finding a pen friend. Eating healthily is important for everyone. But I used to have lots of bad eating habits. I liked fried food a lot. And I preferred meat to vegetables. I had tons of sweet food every day. As a result, I was heavy and weak.
To stay fit, I decided to change my eating habits. I began to eat more vegetables and fruit. I tried my best to say no to food with too much sugar or fat. I drank water instead of juice or cola. My mom supported me by cooking healthy food for me. Gradually, I developed the habit of eating healthily.
Thanks to this good habit, I am healthy, strong and confident now.。
