身着中式长袍，抱着两只熊猫玩偶，北京时间11月13日，成龙亮相洛杉矶，领取奥斯卡终身成就奖。
他也成为首位获得奥斯卡终身成就奖的华人。
在台上领奖时，成龙感慨道：“这是一个梦想。
我拍了超过200部电影，摔断了很多根骨头，这个奖终于是我的了。
”他还表达了感谢：“全球各地的朋友和粉丝们，正是你们给了我继续拍电影的理由，也因为你们，我才会继续跳出窗子、拳打脚踢、伤筋动骨。
”
成龙回忆，23年前他在史泰龙的家中首次摸到了奥斯卡奖杯，“我摸了、亲了、还闻了，我感觉那座奖杯上现在还有我的指纹。
当时我告诉自己，我真的也想要一座奥斯卡奖杯。
”如今愿望成真，成龙感谢了香港这座城市，并表示“我为自己是中国人而感到自豪”。
为他颁奖的是好莱坞明星克里斯·塔克和汤姆·汉克斯，塔克曾与成龙合作《尖峰时刻》系列，该片在好莱坞颇受好评。
今年62岁的成龙于1971年以武师身份进入电影圈，身兼演员、编剧、导演、动作指导与制片多重身份。
