Unit 5 What’s Your Hobby?（第一课时教学设计）镇海职教中心方瑛【课题】Unit 5 What’s Your Hobby （高等教育出版社）《英语1》第5单元Listening和Speaking。

【课时】1课时（45分钟）【设计理念】以活动为载体，采取多种活动途径，引导学生体验和参与学习，让学生在愉快的教学环境中学习和运用语言，而不是机械地学习；让他们在学中练，练中学，边学边用。

调动学生的主观能动性，同时通过丰富的活动使学生真正学会操练语言、运用语言、并最终掌握语言。

【内容简析】本课系《英语1》（基础模块高等教育出版社）第五单元的第一课时，本单元主要是关于爱好的话题，该话题与学生的生活联系密切，能引起学生的共鸣。

第一课时的内容包括Lead-in & Listening and Speaking，主要内容涉及兴趣爱好的词汇和谈论兴趣爱好的对话。

这些内容为整个单元的学习奠定了基础。

【学情简析】本教案的授课对象为高一年级旅游酒店管理专业的学生，大多为女生。

尽管学生思维积极，性格活泼，但是课堂注意力集中时间短，英语基础知识不扎实，自信心不足，害羞，难以开口。

因此在整堂课设计中有梯度，能够帮助学生克服畏难情绪，激发他们的学习英语的欲望；同时在课堂中采取竞争合作的形式，能激励学生踊跃发言、精益求精。

【教学目标】1.知识目标：1）学生能够掌握关于兴趣爱好的词组如play chess, listen to music, fly kites,go fishing, collect stamps, play computer games, etc.2）学生能够掌握讨论兴趣爱好时所使用的句型，如What’s your hobby? What do you like to do? Do you like/love/enjoy...?Are you interested in…? Are you crazy about…?Is … your favorite?My hobby is … I like/love/enjoy... I’m interested in...I’m crazy about...... is my favorite. I don’t like/hate...2.能力目标：1）学生能听懂关于个人喜好的词汇和对话。

2）学生能熟练运用多种句型来表达个人爱好。

3.情感目标：1）通过多种活动来激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

2）培养学生的竞争与合作意识。

3）帮助学生对爱好形成正确的认识，并选择良好的爱好。

【重点难点】重点：在教师提供的情境中，学生通过多种形式的活动来听懂关于兴趣爱好的词汇和句型，并口头表达自己或他人的兴趣爱好。

难点：学生能在真实的情境中运用与兴趣爱好有关的词汇和句型。

Say “hello” to Tom! Today I’m not only your teacher but also your tour guide. Do you know where we are going? It may take us 45 minutes to get there by bus, so if we do nothing in the bus, you will surely get bored. Let’s do something interesting. Do you want to listen to a song?(设计意图：让学生向司机打招呼，自然地渗透了英语国家的礼仪文化，符合《教学大纲》要求；以旅游巴士作为情景，给学生以新鲜感，立刻引起学生的兴趣。

)2. A song:“I love going hiking”1) Listen to the song and learn to sing it.2) Sing together and try to remember the hobbies mentioned in the song. (competition)（设计意图：利用歌曲导入，符合学生的兴趣爱好，在最短的时间内吸引学生的注意力。

另外，本班被分为两大组，竞赛从这个环节开始，哪组答对就能得到一张笑脸。

）3.Brainstorm: different kinds of hobbiesSpeak out the hobbies according to the pictures.（设计意图：利用图片激活学生原有知识，并学习爱好的词汇，为下一步学习奠定语言基础；同时选用当前流行的爱好来拓展学生的词汇。

）4.Teacher: What’s your hobby?Several students speak out their hobbies.(设计意图：该活动涉及自身爱好，能进一步激发学生的学习激情，并为下一步教学做好衔接。

) Step Two: ListeningTeacher: It is clear that you have different hobbies. Here I’ve got five animals and they have their hobbies just like you do. Let’s watch the video and try to remember their hobbies.1.Video A: What’s your hobby?1)Students watch a video.2)Students match the animals with their hobbies.3)Students read Dialogue A: What’s your hobby?Find out the sentences for asking and answering.（设计意图：利用一段动画视频，吸引学生的注意力，比磁带效果好，正是这段视频的字幕帮助弥补了高一旅游专业学生英语基础不扎实的弱点，降低了难度梯度，减轻了学生的焦虑情绪，有利于接下来的语言输出。

另外，通过让学生找出对话A中关于爱好问答的语句，加深学生对本课重点句型的印象，为语言输出作准备。

）2.Game: Pass the sentenceThere are six sentences, each written on a piece of paper, and they are:I like singing English songs. I love collecting stamps.I enjoy playing the piano. I’m interested in going hiking.I’m crazy about playing chess. Listening to music is my favorite.1)The first student of each group gets a piece of paper and tries to remember it in 10 seconds.2)The first student tells the sentence to the second, the second to the third…3)The last student of each group rushes to the front of his/her group and speaks out the sentence. Theteacher judges which group passes the sentence faster and more correctly. (competition)（设计意图：传话竞赛可以锻炼学生的听力，也要求学生有规范的语音，通过传关于爱好的句子让学生进一步熟悉本课时要求掌握的词组与句型, 通过活动来操练词组与句型，实现做中学。

(competition)3)Students read Dialogue B: Do you like sports?Find out the sentences for asking and answering.(设计意图：利用本校两位男生的对话视频，比较贴近学生生活，能引起学生兴趣；让学生找出对话B中关于爱好问答的语句，为输出作准备。

）Step Three: SpeakingTeacher: You’ve learned so many ways of asking and answering for hobbies. Can you use them?Triple-work:1)Students talk about hobbies in a group of three, making gestures and using different expressions.2)Some groups come to the front to perform their dialogues. (competition)(设计意图：通过简单的对话，联系学生的生活实际，巩固前面活动中的重点词组和重点句型，为接下来的综合性活动作准备；要求用多样化的句子能够促使学生反复操练不熟练的句型。

) Step Four: ExtensionTeacher: How time flies! Where are we now? Dongqian Lake is getting nearer and nearer. I hate killing the time by doing nothing. What shall we do now? Let’s work out an activity plan. So I need to know what activities you enjoy doing in Dongqian Lake. My six dear assistants, could you do me a favor, that is, help me interview your classmates what they would like to do there?1.Interview & Report1) The teacher shows how to do the interview.2) Each assistant interviews a group of five to make out what they like to do and hate to do.3) Six assistants come to the front and tell the rest the results of their interviews one by one;The rest have to listen carefully because they have to make an activity plan according to the reports.According to my interview for those five students, ________________. __________________._____________________.
