How: 本节课是一节对话课，教材通过John与妈妈的对话展开对本节课的词汇和句型学习，学习句型：What’s his/her name? His/Her name is ...询问他人的姓名，然后再进行深入了解，学习词汇tall and strong和friendly了解他人的性格及外貌特征，为后面的语言语用搭建基础。
