疑问词可以是疑问代词或疑问副词,疑问代词有:who,whom,which,what。
疑问副词有:when,where,how等。
在这些词后面加不定式构成具有名词作用的不定式短语,在句子中可以作主语、宾语、表语等成分。
常跟疑问词+动词不定式作宾语的动词有,know,tell,advice,show,teach, decide等。
例如;When to start has not been decided.何时动身尚未决定。
(主语)Can you show me how to do it?你能告诉我怎样做么?(宾语)The big problem is which to buy.最大的问题是买哪一个。
2.He doesn’t know if he should bring a present.If I were you,I’d wear a shirt and tie.if 从属连词,第一句中的if是“是否”的意思,引导宾语从句;第二句中的if是“如果”的意思,引导条件状语从句。
if引导条件状语从句时,常用一般现在时态代替将来时态。
